i've been watching Bernardo, he's awesome like Gwen. Yeah, everyone's good, once you go Pro mtbker, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY awesome. but pro or not, we are all AWESOME! because we ride MTB!
i always thought V10`s were too big to whip until Bernardo whipped the sh!t out of them (2011) and proved it`s not about the bike but it`s all about the skills you have!
To be honest i don´t like the company GT cause they always take the good riders from other teams like the Athertons or Cruz. It was so cool Bernardo Cruz is riding Santa Cruz. They wait till they are at the top and then they hook them up.
Yeah they wait til they get more recognition by having great bikes so it makes sense that better riders will want to switch to a good bike company like gt...
Different bike companies have different goals. If you look at Trek World Racing for example, they're a team mainly focused on taking good performing racers and turning them into consistent podium threats. They want to develop talent. On the other hand, GT, just like Specialized (to name only 2), are more interested in taking great riders, or even champions, and keeping them that way. Two different and coherent business models.
