Can't believe he's retiring only a few weeks before Rampage. Based on what we see here he's still got plenty of tricks and creative lines to throw into the mix, hope he changes his mind after the tropical getaway.
I first learned about Zink, thru a Decline Magazine spread, waaaaay back in the day. He was just a grom trying to destroy a Santa Cruz sled. I've been a fan ever since. He represents a generation of freeriding dirbags (of which I'm part of) that laid the groundwork for what the sport evolved into. If this retirement is true, thanks, big dog, for the epic shit you gave us over the years. Enjoy the next chapter. You deserve it all and owe us nothing! I wouldn't be half the rider I am today without the influence of that generation of dirbags. Much love and gratitude!
p.s. @4:20 a cheeky lil wallride throwback, dont think us old dogs didn't notice that one
Nice to see a real edit as well! Much more feel-good-vibe than most shreddits I see today!
BTW. I clicked on the YouTube-button so that I could go in there an click a "thumbs up" on the video. I belive that is a good way of showing appreciation for something that surely took some effort to make.
He always calls it at the perfect moment?! First he wisely stepped away from Slopestyle when he “hit the wall” in 2016. And now it’s at the perfect time... Again. It’s like poetry...

Makes me feel old seeing these “young kids” retire
Congrats on the edit and a well deserved retirement!
