Thank you Ben! All these Insights get me soooo stoked for Race day! I have never before enjoyed Worldcups that much! Keep up the great Work!!!

Agreed great stuff! Appreciate the detail look at small sections. Gives you a good feel for the nuance of racing these tracks.

Cathro for Pope!
(Jun 8, 2019 at 3:07)
This is the kind of mtb technique videos I'd love to see more of. There's like 100+ how to bunnyhop videos, but it'd be nice to have a Cathro technique series on how to choose lines, how to approach different turn combos, obstacles, jumps etc

Rob Warner...Big moustache - check. Sleeveless tanktop - check. Mirrored sunglasses - check. He seriously let the side down by not wearing his cut-off Daisy-Dukes...
(Jun 8, 2019 at 2:01)
Rob Warner is actually planning a Village People revival. Looking forwards
(Jun 8, 2019 at 2:56)
: That had me giggle
(Jun 8, 2019 at 0:58)
BOOM, carbon handlebar's gone in the first corner!
(Jun 8, 2019 at 7:05)
Guess you can feel better about running your raw aluminum skinny flat bar from '96. Get over it.
(Jun 8, 2019 at 8:00)
: Get over what, mate?
You jumped to the wrong conclusion, I actually run a carbon Fatbar myself! ;D
(Jun 8, 2019 at 11:24)
Carbon bars are resilient unlike cranks and rims since they get hit in a different way and have lots of give. I bet alu bar would snap too. The only issue is why spend more when Renthal fatbar lite 31.8, is light and compliant. Latest regular fatbar is legit too. It’s just the original fatbar that was awfully rigid
(Jun 8, 2019 at 11:37)
: Latest alu Fatbar is more compliant than the previous one? I've seen Renthal claiming that they feel the same, the new one is just slightly lighter.
Always wondered why most of the sponsored athletes are on alu (even Gwin switched from carbon this year).
(Jun 8, 2019 at 13:10)
: latest fatbar is pretty much the previous Fatbar Lite. The first fatbar weighed fricking 400g and had at least 3mm thick walls. Riding it was like holding on to a piece rebar without grips. Like most carbon bars, particularly Race Face. But I was speaking of 31.8. The 35mm alu bars are definitely stiffer in the wrong way while carbon bars benefit from increased clamping radius
(Jun 9, 2019 at 0:57)
: Out of the previous gen I preferred Fatbar Carbon over Fatbar alu for comfort (although it wasn't back-to-back testing, so other variables could've affected the result). Would be interesting to try a new alu one.

Well done Ben. Cathrovision has become my favourite part of the world cup. Fun to watch, very informative, gets you excited ready for race day and sh... riders like me can learn so much from them .
(Jun 8, 2019 at 4:34)
Renthal Fatbar Carbon 35 for sale, rarely used. PM me for details.

``Denim Destroyer``, what a great name for my next Brutal Hard-Core band
(Jun 8, 2019 at 9:38)
lol! Sounds like a song from Turbonegro.
(Jun 8, 2019 at 9:49)
: Yeah, could be.... also when you see the brand new style of Rob Warner with moustache and sleeveless jacket, I wonder if I`m watching Turbonegro or Village People....Probably both
(Jun 8, 2019 at 10:46)
: I don't get the resurgence of the mustache lately...it looked bad in the '80s and it looks ridiculous now!
(Jun 8, 2019 at 1:37)
“Chance favors the prepared mind.”
I’m glad you were prepared as it’s very cool to see these videos skyrocket in popularity!
(I’d say in quality also but they’ve always ben so.)
(Jun 8, 2019 at 2:07)
I really like your coverage, technical tips and general chilled attitude towards it all. Keep this up!
(Jun 8, 2019 at 8:58)
Ben is overtaking every one on all areas... Track walk, pits interviews, raw action, riding tips, comparatives, investigation... all this 1 guy. Man carefull you must have some hate on you!
We only need you on the comwnts and track preview... and clone yourself and racing back as well!
(Jun 8, 2019 at 1:29)
Hehehe good one on this +6:00 seconds thing
(Jun 8, 2019 at 6:34)
Cathrovision is one of my favourite video to watch! Very interesting analysis! Gives some good idea on how to handle tricky bits in my local trail.

: He just broke free.
(Jun 8, 2019 at 4:57)
I love watching these videos and then taking note of which lines the top riders choose in their race runs, really adds another layer to what's already the best sport ever
(Jun 8, 2019 at 6:07)
Absolutely loving the pre-race coverage this year - with Cathrovision and the track preview with Gee Atherton being standout highlights.
(Jun 8, 2019 at 7:23)
Remember that time I questioned if we would see boys switching to trail bikes on this track and got downvoted into oblivion?
Well theres a world cup racer on a trail bike PB haters!
(Jun 8, 2019 at 4:45)
such a nice edit
especially to comparison with two rider in one clip!! more more more!
(Jun 8, 2019 at 7:52)
Guy on the Reign had the smoothest line through that section.
(Jun 8, 2019 at 7:29)
I'm always rooting for the denim destroyer...as well as flannel boy
(Jun 8, 2019 at 8:11)
They sound like a couple of hipster Super Heroes
(Jun 8, 2019 at 7:15)
I thought Rob Warner’s vest said “LOST” until we gona better view of it.
(Jun 8, 2019 at 2:43)
Cathro and Warner, the torville and Dean of redbull commentary in the future surely!
