 "It's dried up a lot."

If that is what "dried up a lot" looks like, did you need a snorkel to start with?

I've been there 2 years ago and the top section is so slippery, it is something like clay I thing. I really do not know how they manage to ride it with such speed and without falling.

This reminds me to enjoy the dust of SoCal

We had sun here pretty much for 2 weeks straight, rained now for a day but the sun is already out and will be so for the next week. Till sundays race the conditions will be much better than any Californian dust Razz

I like to think we brits know a thing or two about riding in the wet. Most trails over here are hand-cut and ridden all year round (roots are always wet, holes and ruts get foot-deep), we'd never be on our bikes if we avoided riding in the wet!

Oh.my.god those roots made me cringe! Some bits looked nearly unrideable! Haha drying out

I think Innes has a chance to surprise this year. 2nd ranked jnr. last year before he blew his heel up in SA. And qualified first at the first round of the BDS.

Kranjska Gora is a small park, but it where I cut my teeth learning to ride downhill. I miss that place!

Fair play lads, look up 'sketchy' in the dictionary, and it'll say 'see video'. Good luck boys and all the Brit's racing there!!

Other than the uphill in the middle I hope UCI take note.
  • 2 0
I hope so too Smile There is a part of the track above the chairlift access that was used in the 09 that is said to be gnarly and with open sections between forests at which the riders can collect themselves for the next one, I think it would be a great venue for a world cup race. And maybe put a big ass jump or two at the bottom Wink
