Splitting this from the World Cups was the biggest mistake ever made.
Annoying commentary by the way, just normal Go Pro shots would have been much nicer.
I don't see why they have to change the camera angle constantly, probably because they think its more effective when actually its really annoying because i didn't understand what the heck most of the track was like. They shudve just kept a headcam view for the whole thing
Thanks PinkBike for featuring the film. Can't wait to race this track tonight. One of the most fun 4X tracks in the world. For the comments above suggesting you could ride a BMX bike on this track, you have no chance. A BMX would not make it over the first logs and for sure would not make it through turn 1. So rough, so slippery and this is a 4X bike only track. Racing is going to be amazing. Official edit will be live after the race.
Video always distorts the size of jumps and the track.
This track has already claimed 3 riders with broken wrists and arms in practice.
I know you guys saying how easy it looks would never clear those jumps!
4x is awesome to watch as a spectator and kudos to to all the riders making it happen.
The Eastern European tracks are BIG. You'd also not see someone crash hard, then get up and overtake 2 riders on one wall ride in anything else!
Good luck to all the Brits in Poland!
I must admit after racing Afan last weekend it was ace to have a rock garden as an additional challenge and it was nice to see some riders choosing to run full suspension (was even some idiot running a 29er ;-) . 4x shouldn't just be about big jumps any more. A lot of 4x tracks are starting to have really good stuff like rocks and wall rides etc. I will look forward to seeing how the tracks develop
It's way better than dual slalom.
But courses are expensive to build and get low utilization. So therefor the cost for venues is high, meaning UCI has to foot the bill.
This series won't last, but cool to see it back.
May as well have been on a BMX. No "mountain" in that track. Groomed as. Where's the gnar gone from them? Don't get me wrong I love the excitement that 4X brings but with everyone riding hard tails with just a few jumps there really isn't much to distance itself away from the 20" wheeled bikes. Definitely a step backwards there.
