Personally I would love to see some information on the video such as:
HR (can be from Ric!)
Climb/Descent Rate (%)
And if possible course map and where is the rider/Ric
Simple and easy add-ons, that would put in a different prespective what we are seeing.
Just a thought, but if you like the idea... just give the thumbs up
And a big Thank you for Redbull / Pinkbike to cover XC!

Some of the athletes post their race data on YouTube, it's worth looking at. Pretty incredible stuff.

: Could you link one? My googling is coming up empty sorry!

That's a bit old and is from Sea Otter, but it's still pretty nuts.

: Thanks mate

Love the beginning - hide the secret bike! Come on just release it, we've all seen it...
(May 24, 2019 at 8:57)
They could at least pretend to release it by pulling their arm back and then whipping it forward causing me to run after it even though nothing has moved and then I would look back at them kind of confused and hurt but still trusting that the next time it will be released. Is that what you have in mind?

I'm more mad than I should be that those walkers wouldn't get out of the way.
(May 24, 2019 at 5:52)
Oh man, those bike mounted camera angles are painful. Otherwise nice preview! Always enjoy watching a somewhat regular human (Ric) ride these tracks to give some context.

Anton? Present. Ric? Present. Murray, present.
(May 24, 2019 at 6:33)
No coffee for Anton! I could not do that.
(May 24, 2019 at 8:13)
And then no tea either! Ric's mind blown. ????
(May 24, 2019 at 7:09)
Could someone get Ric an E-bike?
(May 24, 2019 at 10:58)
I love the pump track part! This is going to be cool to see with all the racers. Sooooo looking forward to this race, the crowd and action.

all XC are in miserable conditions lol
Below threshold threads are hidden

Albstadt was a harder course and more technical with all the steep and tight turns. This has a couple of man made rock gardens, with huge straight lines, and a begginer pumptrack that is going to slow down the race. The rest is a fire road with couple of turns.

Thank you so much for generously sharing your expertise. Except just about everybody who has ridden it thinks the opposite.
(May 24, 2019 at 4:31)
It looks fun to ride for sure. But it is an easy ride. This year seems to be easier than the past.
(May 24, 2019 at 4:54)
Lol. Can't tell if serious.
(May 24, 2019 at 4:09)
I think they should make cross country tracks more like enduro tracks with timed climbs this is just not technical enough
