Gee is doing a freakin' fabulous job of the course previews!

 Nice job gee.

Dude is gnarly and a serious threat this weekend. Anyone saying this course isn't heavy is a goddamn doyoy.
  • 5 0
@myfriendgoose: what a track for sure...what kind of magic do you need for all that traction...or maybe just yrs experience in the wet...Gee is a definite threat and looking fast!
  • 1 0
was gonna say the same thing. impeccable job
  • 3 0
Gee is unreal - amazing how he can ride at that pace, whilst remaining composed enough to talk us through the whole track without stopping really. Hope he smashes it this weekend! For his sake and mine (fantasy team).

 Fine rider!
  • 4 0
Came here to say that. ! He's perfect for it ! My thought be like, How the F*ck can he still talk halfway ! Track's insanely Physical
  • 122 0
“Doesn’t look like much”..... as he clears a 30’+ gap..
  • 55 0
While whipping and chatting... in the sloppy wet.
  • 8 0
lol, no kiddin! I thought the same thing.
  • 2 0
"Heavy braking" as he barely slows down
  • 63 0
That was flipping brilliant!! Hats off to gee for such a clear and composed commentary as to what the riders will be dealing with! Course looks brutal already, Sunday is going to a crazy race!!

Gee is doing an excellent job with the commentary, riding and and pro-level insight on these previews. Keep them coming!

come race day in them woods the riders gonna be up to their nuts in ruts. Hope all competitors make it down safe this weekend. Such a brutal track. Great to watch through Gee's eyes too. He's been a class act for many years.
  • 8 0
Let's just hope we get to see that wood section on the live feed
  • 3 1
 @mluk2004: fingers crossed.
got a feeling this could be Danny's day
  • 5 0
@mluk2004 Maybe Gee's - he just eked him out on this course a week or so ago. It'll be a good race for sure!
  • 1 0
@neimbc: was that race in the wet as well...Gee definitely looking on form!
  • 1 0
@rcrdrvr: No - it was a dry track - but we all know Danny is on top, so for Gee to inch him out - he'll be cooking!
  • 3 0
@neimbc: would love more coverage of those events!
  • 1 1
Good. It should be brutal ffs.
  • 28 0
If Gee says "oh my god that's gnarly" you know it's gnarly
  • 28 1
ANYONE who thinks bar, fork and rear-facing Gopro angles are a good idea need their hands testing. I want to see the track!
  • 10 2
I agree in principle, but they kept it minimized this time IMO. It was interesting to see how much body movement he has going on, crazy track.
  • 4 1
keeping certain lines secret...I'm sure they look at all the footage before the edit comes out and maybe this was the case???
  • 2 2
@Mngnt: Yeah I actually enjoyed those shots the most. IMO POV gopro footy doesn't tell you anything about what the rider is doing with body positioning, bike handling, etc...
  • 1 0
Agreed! I don't click on a "Course preview" video to see the rider and not the course.
  • 25 0
Gee is killing these track previews!
  • 4 29
flag syncro (May 31, 2019 at 15:57) (Below Threshold)
Yeah but he looks unfit IMO
  • 6 1
@syncro: lol are you mad? let's see you tackle that track, at that speed and give commentary almost the whole way!
  • 5 0
@boardnz: jesting for sure...dude looks thin and fit as ever
  • 1 0
lol I’m totally blown away to see how fit someone can be, riding at that speed and and not even breathing hard!!!
I was just quoting him saying “maybe I’m unfit...”
Gee is a total beast, I hope he pulls one off this season!!! Maybe Fort Bill Smile
  • 20 0
gee really has to be one of the fittest guys out there to keep talking during a full run of fort bil! Rooting for him to do well this weekend!
  • 19 2
Great preview as always from Gee. I wish him all the best for the race weekend. But please, just please dont use this handlebar to chin camera no more, it's terrible.
  • 16 0
"Maybe I'm unfit"....Umm no. These previews are top shelf. Keep em comin'!
  • 2 0
Yea I was going to say I highly doubt that's the case.
  • 17 0
 Gee for the win
  • 10 1
You can say about Gee what you want but I think his Track Previews are brilliant!
  • 4 0
Respect to everyone who can ride this track in those conditions. Gee´s whole career is awesome and after all this years on the highest level he is still racing with consistant good results. Look a bit for your health, do less party and focus more on the fitness seems to be a really good thing in the long term of a humans live. Gee is a legend for the downhill sport. It would be nice if he finds the time to put in some more track previews this season.
  • 2 1
@fossydh: do less party? The GOAT has something to say about that...

Was never that much of a fan of Claudio's course previews... we used to watch Claudio just to laugh.. then eventually he started trying too hard to make jokes. Fast forward to now, and we all watch Gee's course previews to see how it looks to ride at speeds most of us will never know, while at the same time getting important info about how to ride the track - from a true professional, which to me is much better. Thanks Gee
  • 7 2
With all this Danny talk... I've taken him off my team. Fuck, which means he's going to win now. But, if I put him back on he'll get injured in qualifying! How the fuck does this stupid fantasy game work!!
  • 4 1
Gee's previews reminds me of Richard Cuny's EWS previews a few years back. Less jokes but a more professional take on what the elite riders are facing on track racing at pro level speeds. I like Claudio but I'm starting to prefer Gee's version
  • 4 0
Gee makes it look like he is riding down to the local pub for a pink while the rest of us mortals would be freaking big time in those conditions!
  • 4 0
I'd struggle to get down that track in perfect dry conditions and Gee makes it look like child's play in conditions that look pretty horrendous. These guys are good.
  • 3 0
Can‘t imagine how fast they go on raceday. This already looked like warp speed. From the bridge to the first rock section on top full gnar - and casually talking all the time. Ridiculous.
  • 2 0
Was watching Gee's preview run and thought how good it would be to take telemetry data as well visible, things like when the brakes are used, speed and acceleration, even elevation loss/steepness. It's so hard to actually tell how steep and fast it is from my armchair.
  • 5 0
So wicked! Gee is perfect for this. Good luck to him and all the riders racing this beast of a track!! Respect!!
  • 4 0
I wouldn't be that articulate if I was riding my bike around the block. Amazing.
  • 3 0
Gee is really nailing these- best course previews I've ever seen- really shows the level of difficulty that the top riders are taking.
  • 5 1
"Just getting pounded on every straight"- Sorry, i couldn't resist.
  • 5 0
 Good job Gee!
  • 3 0
Gee is a beast! I wouldn't be able to breath, let alone commentate the whole way down the course. So awesome!
  • 4 0
Fock! This bike works flawlessly, love the sound. Love Gee previewing it..
  • 4 0
Was just thinking how good it would be for Atherton Bikes to come out and take both men's and women's podiums this weekend. May not mean they are a magic bullet but would definitely silence the haters.
  • 4 0
I d like to see Gee win one this year.
  • 2 0
Gee doing by far the best track previews to date. Is it just me or does it remind you of Bear Grylls from man vs wild narration... love it
  • 2 0
This course preview looks speeded up compared to Claudios. I Really enjoyed it - Props to anyone racing down that at full speed tomorrow......... What a track!!
  • 2 0
Thank you Gee. Definitely gives you the perspective of a pro rider and what a pro rider thinks. The commentary is the best.
  • 3 0
Much better than Claidio, Thank you!
  • 3 0
 Skilled !
  • 3 0
 Was that bear gryls.?
  • 3 0
 Awesome !
  • 2 0
His bike seems pretty dialed now, smooth and composed.
  • 2 0
That bike is completely silent, all tires the whole way down.
  • 2 0
If James Bond ride dh that’s how he’d do it
  • 2 0
Sound a bit like Bear Grylls Smile
  • 2 0
Best track preview I ever seen.
  • 2 0

  • 1 0
4:56 I make that... whilst chatting and babysitting the camera! What a guy
  • 1 0
It's wet enough to be mistaken for Hardline!!

Is it just me or isnt it time for a new track for the UK stop on the tour?
  • 1 0
 Why?
  • 3 0
@Medacus: Agreed mate, agreed. I love fort Bill. but they should try and mix up the tracks a little.
  • 2 0
Would love to see glencoe if they added an extra 15/20 seconds to the top.
