Tag along during my full day of competing at Crankworx Rotorua, from my morning routine to a couple practice laps and the actual contest itself. The event didn't quite end up like I wanted it to, but it was such a good time and the experience was great, especially after not competing for such a long time.
Nice insight - still don't get why he stopped after missing the no hands on the first hit though? Still could have got decent points with a full run down.
I would assume that it messed with his mind set, and it's not worth risking everything for a run that won't score where he expects to be. Especially after brutally injuring yourself at the same event the year before, and not being able to stick a run for 2 years. Better safe than sorry!
you’ve got this.
