Take a follow-cam run down Scogglio Rossi out here in Sanremo, Max Hartenstern, my teammate on the follow cam. We have done a few days on this track now, so today I just did a few runs a bit more chill than I have been because it gets dodgy doing runs faster and faster every time!— Danny Hart
Loved that. "Flowy, big berms, big air and not a rock in sight" Love the sarcasm. But maybe this really explains why Danny is so fast. He doesn't see rocks!
@erikkellison: You just had to bring up UST, didn't you? I was almost to the point with my therapist where I was ready to move on from the joys of changing a UST tire on a UST rim.
I have a rim Danny used doing some riding in the states at Plattekill Bike park. In one day of surfing shale rock which doesn't do too much damage to rims not like baby head rocks that don't move he destroyed a rim pretty bad. End of day he cut the spokes took his hub and tossed the rim. We still have it actually in a pile of spare parts with the tire he used. If he can destroy a rim on that kind of terrain he surely is very much so in harder rock terrain.
It nice to watch “a bit more chill” runs still fast supper fast! But I was able to pick up some of the amazing bike handling skills that I do not catch when it is a faster run because they ( little hop hear little hop their bike placement after these hops ex) Go by way to quick for me to catch on
It was nice to watch a "bit more chill" run, even if it was still super fast! I was able to pick up on some of the amazing bike handling skills (little hops here and there, bike placement after these hops, etc) that I don't catch when it's a faster run because they go by way too quick for me to keep up.
one of my best friends is a pro rider and learn so much every time I ride behind him. Those little movements will change your riding skills and take you to the next speed level quicker.
@Krzymndyd: One of my friends is an expert level rider (used to race DH at whistler). I learn a lot during the 10 seconds I ride behind him before he clears off into the distance.
When brits go abroad and try to pronounce the place names but in their broad local accents - in an attempt to sound sophisticated - it makes me smile.
But he can ride the shit out of a bike - brraaaapp!

Go by way to quick for me to catch on
He said "chill", but by the sound of Max heavy breathing it wasn't .
