A hyperactive weekend in the south of France.

On Saturday, a beautiful day at home on a brittle and sharp ground, mixing forest and rock.

On Sunday, we went to the heights of Lamalou-les-Bains where Robin can express all his art, combining technicality, speed and cleanliness! With his enduro he masters the track and the duo Julien Abellan & Jordan Colin are behind the cameras to film the yellow rocket!

 I just don’t get this new hype of riding without knee pads but with a full face helmet especially in south of France littered with rocks. Nice pictures though

 I’m confused...the entire edit he has knee pads on, but almost all of the pictures he doesn’t. Lol.

But new hype? I’m not aware of anyone who would wear a full face without knees...seems circumstantial at best, but odd overall.

 @nvranka: they probably photoshoped then out for the picts Big Grin

 @nvranka:
I think it shows that more often than not photos of riding bikes on trails are just for show. Compared to shooting video you don't need long run ups or high speeds to make it look good.

Unpopular opinion: Pictures of Enduro riding (outside of racing of course: www.pinkbike.com/photo/17201437 ) are LAME.

 @colincolin: One can hope that all those berm exploders put in the time to repair their damage (and I'm not optimistic)

 @nvranka: I noticed that the pictures without knee pads weren't shot on the same track as the video.

 @genericmk: I agree but this photo was from Sam's race run.

 @nvranka: well in the photos he is stationary so doesn't need the pads LOL

 Cool, I didn`t know that spot.... and it is really close to where I`m going to ride right now in the Black Mountain.
France has so many tremendous places in such a `small` territory. No need to go to Whistler, except to show off!

 C'est la fameuse DH de Combes.

 @Clemounet: Merci mec ;-)
Viteuf: aurais-tu des conseils de top spots à rouler en Montagne Noire, sachant que tout est loin d`être répertorié? Merci

 Or maybe he just cba to wear need pads for some of the shots. Probably a familiar trail, return visit for a specific shot, etc. Quite understandable. Chill out I say. Thanks for the edit guys. Great stuff.

 The manual down the rocks was super sick, but the rest of the edit was very twitchy with so many mismatching scenes...shredding a turn, then riding a road, then jumping....

 There sure was a lot of slow motion for such a “super fast riding” vid.

 yeah great riding fast woohoo! WAIT!!! I know lets show it all in slow motion taking away the very element used to describe the video!

 35 seconds... pause the video, introducing the T-Rex manual haha
