bigquotesI'm having an amazing time in Queenstown, NZ. This place bleeds mountain biking, Is filled with some of the nicest/easy-going people and has the most insane scenery everywhere you look.

But for now, here are some clips from a day riding skyline with Dean Lucas!

I was there a few weeks ago, dusty was the word! Not sure if they got any of the rain that inundated further south last week.

I understand what you are meaning with your analogy, but it is messy. A Commencal is hardly the "Volksfahrrad" with prices going up to near 7000 EUR

Unno are hyper-boutique and super rare, this is true. However Commencal are still pretty boutique themselves. They just have the order quantities to be able to manufacture and sell their frames a bit cheaper. Economies of scale n' that.

Also, the rarity of a frame does not mean it is going to perform better than a more easily accessible frame. Look at how many Commencal's you see on the privateer side of the World Cup. They gotta be doing something right.

A better analogy would be going from a Koenigsegg Regera to a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ (Even kept it within your Volkswagen group)
