ATTN! ATTN!! ATTN!! bike parks ::coughmountaincreekcough::
THIS IS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT !! small rollers placed in specific spots that can be doubled with minimal penalty for failure!! that way the joyes can rolll them and i can double and triple them !!!
btw i watched it 3x in a row those dam slippers !!!
@i-eat-dirt, most of this vid, he isn't riding in slippers, but he really does send it in slipppers sometimes. He's done the Crabapple hits, and ridden Sea Otter DH in them.
look at the shot where he is laughing and the camera guy asks him if its "the gnarliest thing youve ever done in slippers?" look at his pedals, they're spd. most of the video hes probably wearing real shoes and only busts the slippers out as a joke.
in all seriousness the other day i was in a bike shop in moab and i saw a pair of slippers next to the teva links on the wall with the same spider rubber and pattern as the sole of the links, and the slippers were beefed up a bit. so there is something out there.
Eliot and Bernard are 2 of my favourite riders!! they both f*cking KILL it, sickkk styles to watch and always shreddinggggggggggggg wish i could shred with em one day!! YEAWWWWWWWW !! Jamming video.. Bless!
Elliot Jackson...man, this guy just makes me want to ride(like him) after every dang video of said stylish stud! just to scrub med tables at speed like that!
So... I kinda forgot that I was watching a Pivot video because the new Phoenix looks identical to a Knolly bike. And it is the same color. About halfway through I remembered that Eliot Just moved to Pivot and I felt kinda dumb.
But seriously those bikes look almost identical to me.
Trails and jumps wherever you go in NZ but Rotorua and Qtown have very comprehensive trail systems that give you the most quality riding for your effort.
Qtown is photogenic and well worth a visit, but the riding there is only a tiny fraction of what's on offer. There's plenty of epic singletrack to be found in other parts of the country.
Tom Grundy "Media Empire" has been making edits for couple of years now, but there's still no visible progress. They are all equally bad. I guess this one was suppose to have some Rankin vibe, but... No. Not even close.
The riding in this video is bananas. The filming however, leaves a lot to be desired. I think he should a. get a tripod b. see a doctor about his parkinsons and c. stop filming on his iPhone.
You guys are dickheads for criticizing this video, and that's all the critique you deserve. Dick. Heads.
Great video. Thanks for posting it. Makes we want to ride bikes.
NZ, second best country in the world.
I don't want you to stop making videos, but I think some of your videos could be a bit better. You clearly have a passion for riding and shooting some of the best riders out there and I think you can do better. A little criticism never hurt anyone. Wouldn't you want someone tell you what you could improve on? All I ask for is for you to get a tripod and maybe even a steadycam and then POW! No more Shakey McJones.

I've never been to NZ. and i'm learning the tracks... Well slayed, gentlemen.
