by Enduro World Series

It’s the MET Val di Fassa EWS and the series is in a brand new venue. This alpine village nestled high in the Dolomites is home to not only incredible scenery, but some truly epic single track. Ric McLaughlin and Chris Ball attempt to keep up with guest presenter Katy Winton on all five of this Saturday’s race stages.

 looks like a hell of a race coming up. great to see new trails in EWS program. looks pretty hard with many lines options. That will be interesting!

 Winton is actually so much more articulate in her description of the track that she should be pressed into duty for this stuff much more frequently. As an aside, I couldn't believe at the start of the stage 5 run that one rider just stopped in the middle of the trail, forcing her to go off trail. Not a biggie due to the surroundings, but still, worthy of a good helmet-slap.

 I'm happy to have the old Bronson with pink letters, rare to find such one on the trails, all new colours of santa Cruz bikes are boring af.

 @rewob Italy's not that big.
You can't literally go nowhere far from a mountain (or an hill) more than an hour drive.

 @Becciu: unfortunately I think Palermo is a bit out of the way, especially for some of the more epic riding.

 @rewob: All I know about the riding scene in Sicily is that riding mt. Etna is a blast; I admit that it could be difficult to reach from Palermo, but the city is sorrounded by hills.
