On a recent visit to the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan, three professional mountain bikers from three very different sides of the industry came together to understand why we continue to push ourselves in all four corners of the globe. Why we keep coming back to ride and carry our mountain bikes into the unknown, and what it is that underpins this unique sport that we are addicted to.
Join Dan Milner (Professional mountain bike photographer), Euan Wilson (CEO of H+I Adventures) and Sam Seward (Mountain bike adventure rider) as they try to whittle out a route through the imposing peaks of this mysterious Himalayan country, to answer the burning question “What is adventure…?”

thanks! Much as I'd like to claim this and revel in the glory, this video is the work of a certain Douglas Tucker. I was merely a cog in the machine to realise it. Glad you enjoyed it though. I shot some chunky photo stories that are appearing elsewhere....

We spent a month there....worth every cent and I'm no dentist. FlorentVN's description above is bang on...you get what you pay for and you don't have to pull your wallet out at all while there. Fantastic. And, there's a really cool dog society....all the dogs just cruise around together and get a lot of love from the Bhutanese...so amazing!

the adventure comes from being in Bhutan. Otherwise, mediocre trails at best. New culture is always cool but not sure it’s worth the trip.
