After a year’s hiatus, the Falmouth Urban Downhill presented by Carrick Riders made a comeback for 2019!

The sixth installment of the event provided an incredible test of the rider’s skill and grit. The course was the most technical so far, starting with tight corners over steps and gravel, before descending through a tight stair set. A sprint past Tremough house and the riders dropped into the famous 'grass knoll', featuring a big kicker which the crowd were loving. Finally the riders would tackle a long and tight stair set before one final drop into the finish.

In the Women’s category, Amy Jones took a commanding win over Courtney Abbis, with Izzy Leyshon taking third. Ben Moore was able to make it three in a row, putting 1.14 seconds into Pete Robinson in 2nd and Dean Collister nearly 7 and a half seconds back in third.

Keep your eyes peeled for the 2020 dates!
