Having fun on a bicycle is what its all about, right? Lately, I have been having the most fun on my fatbike. I originally got one for riding in snow, but it has become my go to bike year round. To me, it is a perfect bridge between bicycle and motorcycle. I feel my background riding trials and the techniques I have learned on my motorcycle transfer to the fatbike well. For this video, I tried to combine some of the more fun and more difficult lines I have found on my normal rides in our woods.
We don't have mountains or even any real hills, the tallest point on the property is actually made out of wood, so you have to get a bit creative to keep it fun. Luckily, years of bringing in all kinds of obstacles for trials riding has built quite the playground for just about any bike. I always mix up my rides with a bit of trials, some dirt jumping, the xc loop, and usually more than a few wheelies. Having just received my new Fatback Rhino, I thought it was the perfect time to make a video showing how much fun I have on my bike in the woods.
This was shot by my girlfriend, Hannah, and myself using the KillerShot GoSwivel, GoSpike, and GoElevation.
