Yeah, the podium is such a bullshit symbolic act. Sick bike race and all, but seriously what are you guys doing? The US just set a new record for nearly 70,000 new confirmed cases in a single day. I know the pandemic is so totally boring and everyrhing /s, but it is not anywhere near being over.

@jgainey: I'm debating whether I want to do a couple enduros this year or not. All the orgs are promising masks in the pits when social distancing is not possible. I do wonder if people will stick to it. It seems that outdoors is pretty safe, but my faith in people just acting cool and doing the basic precautions is pretty shaken seeing how this country has handled things.
