by Luis Gerstner

Lean back and get lost.

There's not much that can compete with the feeling of floating down the infamous Hacklberg Trail in Saalbach Hinterglemm.

Put on some headphones, turn on 4k and go full screen for the full experience.

Enjoying the scenerey before dropping into the infamous Hacklberg Trail.
Hacklberg Trail in Saalbach Hinterglemm - One of the most beautiful trails I've ever ridden.

Cheers to Norco Bicycles, Shimano, Amplifi and Levelnine Components for the Support.

Trail looks good but video has too much drone for my taste.

the video was shot only using a drone. That's the whole point of FPV videos Wink

@luisgerstner: why not the drone flight without a biker?

@luisgerstner: I think he meant that those tight, fast twists and turns are pretty nauseating as a viewer

Using a drone to film a bike is more Third Person. The subject is the rider, not the drone.

Apparently the Drone is still flying around looking for descent trails lol

No sure what everyone is droning on about - I though that was pretty nice to watch

Hacklberg trail on a downhill bike. Seriously?
  • 13 1
could only bring one bike to Leogang and Saalbach! So I went for the DH Wink

Yep!.. If you go to Saalbah - Leogang area with only one bike... with DH bike you have way more fun on other trails... ????

@andymcrod: I mainly go to Leogang for the Downhill track, that's why I'd bring my DH bike Wink And also in Saalbach it doesn't make much of a difference in my eyes. You're just more comfortable with all the brake bumps, and you'll have to work a bit harder here and there but who cares? It's not about the bike in the video anyway.

@luisgerstner: ...the truest truth itself! ????

I rode my V10 in Sölden Bike Republic. Overkill in Sölden for sure, but only because I went to Leogang first and I could only bring one bike.

Best viewed in 420p on google pixel phone's picture in picture mode, speakers clogged with pocket lint. Lean forward and find yourself.

Hard to watch - kept droning on...

 As the video progresses

1, Opening: Oh that is pretty
2: He's massively over biked for that trail.
3: Would be nice to get more natural tyre noise, must be annoying to have that open space ruined by the constant fizzing of some prat with a drone.
4: ...though to be fair that's some great flying and shooting.
5 (right at the end) : Ah yes, annoying buzzing.

no shortage of superlatives here... europes most stunning trail..... i doubt it heavily.

one of the most stunning trails I've ever ridden in Europe. The title is subjective and with 100 videos uploaded every second to YouTube, you gotta go for the superlatives to stand out somehow. Sadly, that's how YouTube works.

@luisgerstner: so you're chasing views and clicks?
  • 1 0
@singlespeedman: if you wanna make a living out of riding bikes, unfortunately, that's what you gotta do Wink

@luisgerstner: yes, that's the sad part. Good luck anyway

This is a great trail, the views are awesome. But Bergstadl is the one I love and fear (a bit).
