Filmed in the fall of 2019, Alan Mandel’s “Surfing in Utah”, is a new short movie produced by film-maker Tim DaCosta.

Mountain Bikes, Utah desert, long hikes, steep chutes, brown pow, and great memories!

bigquotesWhen I drop into any line on my Mountain Bike, The last thing on my mind is if my helmet will protect me. The comfort, style, and level of protection from the SHRED. Brain Box gives me the confidence to go for it and ride how I want to ride without the worry and concern of the safety of my head. That is why after my crash while filming “Surfing in Utah” resulted in me throwing up the rock sign and running back up the hill to do it again. I credit the SHRED. Brain Box for that moment, keeping me safe and allowing me to keep on shredding.Alan Mandel

Can we all agree to never use the phrase brown pow again?

Thanks for staying on the trail..........I am sure non biking people will think ripping / shredding up the mountain is a cool thing.

Get a grip man. Being conservative when it come to the environment and being from Utah it does not hurts these mountains at all. It rains and they look like new. Do you see a f&#&^ flower up there? And hardly anyone rides these. And the are all over the state, huge mountain ranges.

You should be worried about pristine alpine mountains and Utah's red rock desert becoming private neighborhoods, mines, and such. Now go do something about that - oh wait you cant and you wont do anything but type from your office.

Now go send Redbull Rampage about your feelings. Im sure it will be canceled. And boycott the event vociferously.
