there is no bigger douche than the guy who comes up behind you after you've just wiped out on a trail and says "whoa dude don't stop in the middle of the trail!"

oi dickhead this is my favorite place to eat dirt at a sudden change in velocity. idiots

There she is! We've got "KURWA" in the opener! #polandstrong
  • 16 0
You know it's a good one if it starts with a kurwa!
  • 19 2
it makes me so happy that the freeride movement develops in our country, we just need more words to express ourselves....
  • 5 0
So much better than "oh my goodness"
  • 4 0
Its not a FF without at least one solid kurwa
  • 56 1
2:07 must be the new "sideways rear wheel" industry standard.
  • 14 0
Rear wheel steering prototype, it's the next big thing. Allows for long stable bikes that can still get around the tightest of switchbacks.
  • 6 0
@kcy4130: lmao guess what i was actually daydreaming about a bike like that the other day thinking how i could pull it off (spoiler: i cant)
  • 9 0
Or... it's just a paint stripped santa cruz...
  • 5 0
"Swing bike" those things were SO hard to ride. Have to rewire brain.
  • 15 0
That was the rare legitimate "I was just riding along and...".
  • 1 0
@timotheysski: You're not trying hard enough
  • 4 0
More like a terminal case of nomadic swingarm, or sheared pivot axles
  • 6 1
@SJP: That tiny g out didn't break that frame, it probably just finished it off (unless it was a defective frame). The few frames I've broken, all broke on pretty minor impacts, it's not till after, that I recall a massive case (or savage bottom out on a rock roll g out, or a huge huck to flat) that occurred on the previous ride. That's how Al fails usually, massive hit causes crack, crack fatigues and fails fairly quickly. Carbon is less predictable. And I'm a lot smarter about inspecting the bike for damage now than I used to be.
  • 44 0
Is that Mike Levy at 1:22?
  • 5 1
Came here to write the same thing!
  • 11 0
I think it should be named Levy's Gap
  • 25 0
If it was Levy, shouldn't he have done it on 16 other bikes?
  • 9 0
Levy showing us how his road gap he was bragging about yesterday really ended
  • 15 1
 @Monsterman156: kids don’t google that !
  • 2 0
@Matt115lamb: it's no way as intense as Levy's Gape
  • 1 0
 Levy's practice run.
  • 42 0
 One upvote for "safe!!!!"
  • 1 0
Holy $h1t - I’m a week into RC surgery and that is the first smile and laugh out loud since I’ve been cut. 100 upvotes here. “Gold Jerry - gold!”
  • 34 0
The failed backflip to lawn chair at 1:45 made me cringe so hard
  • 5 0
that's how you pack a body in a suitcase Frown ... worst nightmare
  • 12 0
@borisimobike: I like to remove the appendages and use two smaller suitcases and a bowling ball bag
  • 33 0
Guy at 1:10 finds and hits the only rock with great precision Smile
  • 5 0
Right after the cameraman hits the bong with great precision ... teamwork makes the dream work.
  • 1 1
That looked like jumping mouse at greer? regardless, terrific aim.
  • 2 0
@ranke: Negative, that is not greer.
  • 17 0
poor Tom, one hell of crash
  • 15 0
 Even the pros making cameos!
  • 12 0
I use to thing that loud squawk sound when a bike bottomed out hard was the fork/shock, but I think sometimes it's the sound of the soul leaving the body
  • 8 0
Your soul stepping out for a moment to see how the crash is gonna pan out.
  • 13 0
You think bike companies search Friday fails when they get a warranty request?
  • 1 0
"just riding along (JRA), not sure what happened."
  • 12 1
Welcome to mountain biking. I’d like to propose a new unwritten rule for the MTB community; if you’re taking a newbie along on a group ride, it should always be filmed.
  • 16 0
6-9 months of experience has the best looking confidence vs. performance curve; there's a convergence between what you will attempt and the likelyhood of a fail-worthy outcome.
- Speaking from experience.
  • 13 0
 Seth Rogen @3:23
  • 1 0
Thought the same thing, has to be!
  • 12 0
Mountain bikers: "Cycling is good for you."
Everyone else: "....erm....."
  • 10 0
Sometimes the simplest crashes are the best. I can totally relate to the low speed huck to gravel to school nurse at 0:33.
  • 7 0
I like the one guy's tactic near the beginning where he just gets up and keeps running down the hill after bailing. I guess if you run long enough, the pain will eventually go away!??
  • 9 0
0:45 Who could have predicted that that rock might be a tad slippy?
  • 7 0
it looked like a sheet of ice...not sure why even attempt that,
  • 10 0
Not even wet leaves could stick to it
  • 2 0
At least he dropped in slowly...
  • 2 0
... and had that tree to break his fall.
  • 8 0
Mountain creek always bring the best Friday fails content.
  • 2 0
Dude. That overshoot made me cringe. That was a big slam.
  • 2 1
 That drop needs a rebuild.
  • 2 0
It literally was rebuilt like a month before this video. Rider needs to learn how to ride. @chriskneeland:
  • 2 0
Huge slam. Too many send it joeys try stuff that’s too big for them creek has steep and short landings unlike gravity logic stuff so you actually have to be a good rider @swellhunter:
  • 2 0
@freeridejerk888: The landing is too short for that drop. Could be a cool drop, but you have to slow down so much that it's lame.
  • 1 0
the clip at 2:29 was at mtn creek too right?
  • 1 0
I have to brake check the boner log every time. So it’s pretty damn perfect to me @chriskneeland:
  • 3 0
I agree. Creek has short landings that are easy to overshoot. And this dude was getting towed. It’s his fault. Just saying that was a brutal slam. Know that drop and could feel that in my bones how hard it must have been. @freeridejerk888:
  • 1 0
Oh yeah it’s a decently hard hit when you lane it right haha. That’ll teach you to ride in your limits real quick lol @swellhunter:
  • 7 0
Bro you sent that road gap... Hope you're healed up.
  • 6 0
2:40 oh man I've tried that fast walk... you try to sneak away from the pain and embarrassment but it always catches you.
  • 6 0
 Was that a mating call @ 0:20 ?
  • 3 0
I think he got his cat to film
  • 5 0
This was one of the biggest Friday Fails..... way too many vertical cellphone footage this week.
  • 7 0
 1.28 - Levi's gap!?!?!?
  • 3 0
 It looks exactly like it!
  • 1 0
@LeecarL: If I had not seen the previous article I would really wonder what you guys are talking about.
  • 4 2
Today's fails are more like good riders who have made small errors in judging speed or body position, who will probably nail everything attempted today after one or more tries. Kudos to them. 1:20 was lucky he didn't get impaled on a pine tree branch.
  • 5 0
at 1.16 I genuinely believed we would see someone impaled in the log. Some trimming could do.
  • 3 0
I tensed thinking that was how that one was going to end. Someone needs to get busy with the hacksaw.
  • 5 1
@dglobulator: Bowsaw or pruning saw. A hacksaw is a fine-toothed saw for metal. Generally.
  • 2 0
 @iamamodel: it'll leave the ends smoother ;-)
  • 6 0
Anyone else like to guess HOW the person is going to crash?
  • 10 0
 Choice are simple:
1) To fast
2) To slow
3) Scotty doesn't know
  • 2 0
 @airlacasse: 4) To stiff.
  • 6 0
 #too
  • 1 0
@preach: could always be a little stiffer
  • 2 0
 @preach: two pedantic
  • 1 0
 @jason3559: hahaha
  • 5 0
Lots of Arm Day skipping going on this week - Bar Fold Friday!
  • 3 0
Exactly. Do some push ups folks! Big Grin
  • 2 0
A big nasty yardsale wipeout.. Yet somehow the guy right behind just casually slows down and stops next to or behind wreckage pile. Seems a skillset gap between rider in front and camera guy?
  • 3 0
Biggest fail was whoever built the case pad on the landing in the first clip.
  • 3 0
I am amazed this isn't top comment. I don't know where to begin on how janky that thing is.
  • 1 0
what a scary situation, going full air and realizing that just leaving the ground you are toooooo short for the landing place, that guy in the last video knew it from the beginning.
  • 3 0
Dang! @mikelevy did that gap better 1:26
  • 3 0
 Another day another kurwa.
  • 3 0
UK, come get your street urchin at 0:20.
  • 3 0
2:04 Why you don't buy "lightly used" bikes....
  • 1 0
they could actually just have a best of Audio Tape from the people that did the actual filming -a lot of Oh Shits and Are you alright with plenty of No no no
  • 1 0
I like how the guy at 1:54 doesn't even let go of his bars. Like he's hoping the bike will magically pop back onto its wheels so he can keep riding! :-)
  • 1 0
His mates had super glued his bars.
  • 2 0
That lovely little huh at 3:19 made my day
  • 2 0
That sound effect at 3:30 had me lmao!
  • 2 0
2:41- i want whatever brakes that guy has.
  • 1 0
WHAT?!?! No second angle from the other filmer at 1:30?!? missed opportunity.
  • 2 0
That broken Santa Cruz used to have a different color
  • 3 4
Biggest fail: 0:20 seconds in, frickin annoying kid starts yelling his head off behind the camera like he's calling getting raped from behind. Probably the cause of the crash! Like STFU dude!
  • 1 0
These are becoming so popular they will soon give AFV a run for their money.
  • 1 0
@ 1:03 - don't even want to think about what would happen if he had followed through and attempt to gap that.
  • 2 0
Holy neck brace commercial at 1:47!
  • 2 0
 Friday fails: the unairworthiness edition.
  • 2 0
what the hell happened at 3.31? Crashed all by himself!!
  • 2 0
i think he jammed a crank in the dirt, but it's hard to say the inexplicable bails are my favorite category of fail
  • 1 0
There's a rock or something rolling along on his left. Dislodged with his crank? Then it levered him off the bike?
  • 1 0
Ever notice that only a handful of fails are not on drops/jumps...the mountain world needs a lesson.
  • 2 0
1:10's my local. Guy must've been mach-ing to boost that far.
  • 1 0
I follow him on Instagram. The slow mo was intense. That is a huge boost for that gap
  • 1 0
At :53 I can almost hear his bike asking him "You ok bro?" as it slides past him on the landing.
  • 2 0
 0.00 My man Big Grin
  • 1 0
I want to be the guy that lands in the leaves
  • 1 0
Is that a sneeze at 3:03?
  • 2 0
 Ohh huck to face flat?
  • 1 0
1:36 the bike said "f*ck you!"
  • 1 0
0:19 the camera man sounds like a really angry cat
  • 1 0
The sound effect at 3:25 really sold it for me.
  • 1 0
Some goodins in there this week. That gap......
  • 1 0
 3:00 - Huck to flat...tire
  • 1 0
The guy at 1:46 - backflip? Without the bike?
  • 1 0
did i just watch someone die? please tell me the road gap guy is ok.
  • 2 0
He's perfectly fine... now that he is in heaven.
  • 1 0
He’s not dead but he’s super messed up, he’s actually a pro but I forgot his name
  • 2 0
 @mariomtblt: Tom van Steenbergen
  • 1 0
There should also be "Wins and saves" compilation to balance things out.
  • 1 0
No comment about the last king huck?!!?
  • 1 0
 polish doughnut @ 1:53? Sick!
  • 1 0
sounds like Seth Rogen crashed at 3:22 lol
  • 1 0
What was happening to that cat at 0:19?!
  • 1 0
I blame Mr. Knievel for all this nonsense!! Speed and gravity as well....
  • 1 0
"The Berenstain Bears and Too Much Rebound"
  • 1 0
Is the guy from 3:38-3:50 in a full body cast?
  • 1 0

  • 1 0
 0:12 - Spleen?
  • 3 0
Someone's got some spleenin' to do.

As he lies there, writhing, at 0:15, does he *look* OK?
  • 4 0
 @MtbSince84: I mean *technically* you don't 'need' a spleen.
  • 1 0
 Case check!!!!!!
  • 1 0
 Are you ok?
  • 1 0
 Tres!
  • 1 0
