Excited to take out my e-bike and rip some multi-use paths. Got the idea from your magazine. Thanks Robin!

Glad to see they didn't keep you behind a paywall.

@SangamonTaylor: Glad to hear it Taylor. Pick up some non-alchoholic IPAs (I love the Athletic Beers brand) and Gluten Free Granola (I love the Whole Foods brand) for a post-ride treat!

Be safe be well,
Incognito Robin

Robin, you're doing great things on this site. I was so inspired I sold my Wreckoning to buy a new e-gravel bike, with the leftover money I was able to buy a sixer of non-alcohlic IPAs that I'm going to be sharing with my dentist friends on our next ride. Cheers!

@notoutsideceo: What are the current top 10 bespoke collapsible trail-dog water bowls?
  • 17 0
@BoobyHill: Im so glad to hear it Booby (meow...love that name)...tell me how she rides, I found putting a Lefty on my eGravel bike made a big difference in performance and weight savings!

Be safe be well,
Incognito Robin

@suspended-flesh: I'm so glad you brought up dogs...my Goldendoodle, Batman is my best friend (get it!?!? Batman and Robin!?!). He gets better treatment than my kids and I even let him sit in the front seat of the Model X sometimes.

When it comes to all things dogs I love to support my good friend, Will Blount the CEO over at Ruffwear in Bend Oregon. He's been doing a great job keeping Batman geared out over the years. Okay, back to why I was so glad you brought this up - he and I have partnered to give PB users and their 4 legged friends the ultimate hookup. Use code NotOutsideCEO at checkout for 10% off your next order for your furry friend!

Be safe be well,
Incognito Robin

 "eww" is such a roast
  • 3 2
I propose that each week, the lamest Friday Fail is given the "ewww" at 2:15, but I'd like the sound to come from the disdainful and disappointed Captain Morgan at 3:10.

@brianpark Weekly Friday "ewww" prize giveaway?

Sound effects are strong this week. Well done
  • 12 0
Yeah, the sounds of collar bones and ribs snapping and the following groans are top shelf.

Today's episode of Friday Fails was brought to you by the letter "oh" and the number "(tw)ooooh"
  • 2 0
Still getting use to "Oh" as the new sponsor. The premature "You OK?"s had held down the top title for a long time.

3:25 is a great save-fail. He could've endo'd but just jumps over the bars then pushes off a rock and rolls away. Total stuntman move.
  • 1 0
That's my submission! They cut before my laughter...

Stoked to make the cut. Will be a nice surprise for my buddy (the stuntman)!

I wonder what was exactly expecting the guy at 2.52 with such a ramp and a flat landing.... ?

You could film an entire friday fails vid in one afternoon at Boltron ifya tried...

:55 question - 'are you ok'? If breaking some ribs means I'm ok, then yea, 'I'm ok'
  • 2 0
I swear, that same question week after week after week. Smile Talk about a leading question. "No I'm not ****ing OK, and I probably won't be for a very long time". -Me, usually.
  • 3 1
@number44: it's the optimistic option. As in "I don't wanna spend the evening in the Urgent Care. Go tomorrow when I'm not around."
  • 1 0
 0:55 Him: You OK?
Her: Huuuuuughhhhhh

Translation: I have nearly zero oxygen in my lungs and am unable to distinctly reply at this time.
  • 5 0
3:10 It could be worse, it could be raining
  • 2 0
2:30 seemed to be a hearty slam.

Lessons: Friends shouldn't let friends navigate trails destined to add pain from crashing. And for those sending and sh1t happens, I offer no judgement.
  • 4 0
 total Schwarzenegger @ 2:33
  • 3 0
 Sorry I lost count?
How many "earth, sky, earth, sky" was that at 1:10?
  • 3 5
Suspension, Suspension, Suspension. You're not setting your bike up correct!. Simple rule to follow, if you're not going to send it, don't attempt it. Most likely no one's bike is set up for "not sending it", that's always going to be a fail. If you're going to send it, then learn how to set up your suspension. Or don't, because i enjoy the Friday Fails, so keep them coming.
  • 2 0
Rider error, not suspension. If I'm doing a gap, drop, or rock garden nicely, no-one on earth could then change my suspension setting enough to send me OTB.

Happy nut day everyone. Good to see the guy at 1.46 joining in celebrating this day
  • 1 0
I do appreciate how curteous everyone was this week by exiting through the front door!
  • 1 0
Love seeing Killington on there. The rock is much steeper than it looks
  • 1 0
Remember noobs, the front wheel doesn't like to defy the laws of physics
  • 1 0
 I hope I don't fail today

Don't ride the Polygon Siskiu T7 on wood features.
  • 1 0
You talking about the Trek on the ladder bridge drop? (vertical shock)
  • 2 0
@vapidoscar: Nope, he's talking about the Polygon Siskiu T7 on the wood feature. 1:38.
  • 1 0
@mca896: that one i thought was a trek. Eyes aren't what they used to be.
  • 1 0
 Steven was Soooo close.
  • 1 0
 that scream at 1:45 lol
  • 10 13
i am still amazed people think you can hit a drop without pulling up
  • 20 3
I am still amazed that people think you should pull up on a drop. (You preload your suspension instead, unless you're looking to lessen the amount of drop)
  • 8 0
Depends on speed and angle of drop whether to pull up or not... hey that kinda rhymes, maybe I'm thinking of hitting fast lines. Though the rain that fell last night is gonna make the possibility of staying on the trail kinda tight. Maybe I'll sit back and drink a couple pale ales and watch an other episode of Friday fails.
  • 10 0
@rrolly: haha fair enough- ‘pulling up’ is not the right phrase. Just seemed simpler than a long explanation but I can appreciate pedantry
  • 9 0
@MOBrules: true. I just mean riding your front wheel off a 2 foot drop at walking pace is not a winning strategy
  • 11 3
@twonsarelli: I'm thinking the difference between 'preload' and "pulling up" is not pedantic.
  • 4 0
@flaflow: I can see brevity is not my friend today. i am sure you can understand my meaning
  • 6 0
@flaflow: How do you preload a bike with no suspension?
  • 1 0
@twonsarelli: 29er and 27.5 are deceiving people, thinking they can just roll off and onto everything
  • 1 1
 @drunknride: very similar
Try to get on a pumptrack with bmx or even my steel 26er from 1997.
  • 1 0
@twonsarelli: I do and I wonder if you get rrolly's meaning.
  • 2 0
@drunknride: even a fully rigid bike has suspension.....the rider.
  • 1 0
@conoat: The rider (is by definition) not the bike.
