The bike from the White Line clip when listed on Pinkbike buy and sell will have “the usual wear and tear” in the description.

Don't forget "never been to a bike park"
  • 18 0
"One minor crash, scuffs in the photos"
  • 3 1
I don't rental insurance covers that.
  • 9 0
Knowing full well I probably don't want to know the answer, but has anyone ever actually fallen off the White Line?
  • 10 0
If that happened in this day and age, I'll bet the remains of the bike was stripped of parts before the rider could get down to it.
  • 6 1
Or he requested the usual "JRA" warranty claim.
  • 2 2
That first step down was a doozy...
  • 6 2
I genuinely enjoyed that white line video…

 Best White Line vid ever!

Wet bike photos will sell it

These riders should've used Shimano's Saint brakes that haven't been updated in nearly a decade.
  • 3 0
Yes, a topic that I'm so excited about. Oh wait, I thought it said Saint brakes last for ten years
  • 5 0
Maybe we can hear what Kristen Butcher thinks of these fails.
  • 18 0
Those poor guys at Beta have no material to review. So they write about their used pants, shirts an 10 year old Saints and call it long term review Smile
  • 8 0
Wouldn’t know anything about that… paywall stuff.
  • 14 0
You'll NEVER guess why Saint brakes haven't been upgraded in a decade - click here
  • 2 0
@andrewfrauenglass: i have my set of saints since 7 years, still going strong. a bleed per year and no fading issues. great stuff!
  • 31 0
pretty sure the bike falling longer than gandalf with balrog should be treated as save considering that rider was not on it
  • 5 1
It takes a BMX backround to dismount before disaster
  • 28 0
way to set Zach up for failure
  • 8 0
 ZACK YOU GOOD.
  • 16 0
@curtaincarot: At least let the man finish the crash!
  • 9 0
'Just follow my tire mark' might be the successor of 'Let my Ibis do the job'
  • 1 0
 Zack face braked.
  • 1 0
 Who's Zack?....
  • 9 0
 @xsixx: Zack is Dead, Baby!
  • 19 0
...zoom out...zoom out....zoom out.... (omg it keeps going).

Seriously, what was the riders plan in that second clip, had he made the turn, where was he going?
  • 5 0
@LucaP: thank you for sharing that....the guy in the above clip was coming in from the other way (over shot the turn?) which probably made that corner way tighter than it needed to be.

Man I just dont get the fascination with people wanting to ride the white line. Risk reward ratio seems terrible. I've never been there to see in person though either in all fairness. There were some super heavy fails this week.
  • 25 1
Some say the bike is still falling to this day!
  • 4 1
@cougar797: is it just me or are the heavy hits becoming more common and heavier by the week? I like a chuckle at the slow speed fails but those heavy ones make me wince.
  • 14 0
@cougar797: With all the other super fun trails in Sedona, many with plenty of exposure, I could not see the point of riding it while I was there. It's just basically a short out and back on off camber rock that wouldn't be that difficult if the risk of death wasn't there to mess with your brain. But risk of death is not the element that keeps me riding so... na, I'll just go ride Hangover. Different strokes tho, kudos to people with stronger sphincters!
  • 3 1
@ODubhslaine: honestly, didn't think this week was all that bad...some nice lighthearted snow crashes and a few top tube ball busters helped break up the more intense crashes (I say this as I'm nursing a potential hairline fracture somewhere in my shoulder from deadsailor'ing into a tree on Tuesday...unfortunately no cameras were rolling)
  • 3 0
@SATN-XC: oh Jaysus man that blows. I hope it’s not as bad as that and you’re not off the bike for long.

Speaking of the bike… is it ok?
  • 2 0
Pretty sure she yells, Bye Hun!
  • 4 1
@ODubhslaine: thx for asking..bike took it like a champ and I can still ride, shooting pain only when there is a pulling force on my shoulder, otherwise have full motion...just going to avoid jumps, drops and rock gardens for a few weeks
  • 1 0
 Right!
  • 2 2
@cougar797: I don't feel like going out there to ride it because it doesn't look like that big of a deal. I've ridden exposed singletrack many times and it just feels like normal singletrack with a better view.
  • 1 0
Thank you, I had missed that clip. Holy shit that bike takes a tumble, thank goodness the rider stopped falling....
  • 12 0
2:48 - Perfect example of the human impulse to ask, "you ok?" before the corpse even stops sliding.
  • 11 0
You never want to see the White Line on Friday Fails.
  • 6 0
Except this one though. I sure don't want to see one where the rider follows the path of this bike.
  • 1 0
 @ak-77: Did this ever happen?
  • 1 0
@yoobee: some say its question only jesus knows
  • 9 0
 Holy f the white line
  • 4 0
That was something - Guess the bike would NOT be OK!
  • 9 0
The fact he didn't go with the bike counts as a save in my book.
  • 2 0
 @ReformedRoadie: Sunday Saves!
  • 1 0
@CSharp: Should go on both, fails for the bike and saves for the rider... per above he's doing OK.
  • 6 0
What was that second dude thinking????
  • 1 0
I was thinking the same. I was expecting to see a trail as the camera started to zoom out. Nope!
  • 2 0
Reb Bull Rampage...pffft, pussies! Wait till they get a load of this run
  • 5 0
the bike from the White Line fail on the buy/sell section: no lows balls I know what I got
  • 2 0
I know all people are different, but something I just don't understand is how some people watch their mate absolutely nail themselves and stay completely silent whilst it's happening. Like... does what you see not concern you at all?! Is there no surprise to what's going on?! No compassion?!
  • 3 0
You're only seeing very very short clips here that are only showing the crash not the rest. Also yelling and screaming while your buddy is crashing is not helping matters in anyway. Once they have crashed - you run up to them to make sure they are alright, if they are in alright shape and are moving - help them clear the trail and help them out with what they need. If they are not able to then quickly go back a bit and put your helmet/bike to block the trail so you don't get riders coming down on you and then you can calmly start first aid and or calling emergency services. No sense in panicking and yelling at all to be honest.
  • 2 0
I don't understand why people asking ARE YOU OK while I am STILL CRASHING... I don't know yet Big Grin
  • 5 0
Last guy got attacked by the PB logo
  • 2 0
They only put it in for the "Kurva".
  • 1 0
Great edition I must say. I love the ones where someone makes the jump but then messes up just after. The white line clip was just insane, I had never heard of that trail before. Should have been on Sunday Saves tho, would have added some quality there.
  • 4 0
Successful hucks are all alike. Every failure fails in its own way
  • 1 0
That's basically what I commented on Saturday Sends edition a while ago. Very true.
  • 2 0
 @barp got it Wink
  • 2 0
The time it took for Zach to stop sliding after he was asked if he was okay, was longer than the amount of time it took for guy to say 'ZACK U OK'
  • 4 0
the guy who sends it too high into the tree lands no sweat thats a save
  • 1 0
I thought the guy who hit the road gap over the fence was too.
  • 3 0
Can we take a few moments to say a few kind words for the bike who so tragically fell to its death?
  • 1 0
I held my breath for a minute's silence.
  • 4 0
 Sorry Dougie...
  • 1 0
He isn't as sorry as Dougie....
  • 2 0
Somebody needs to post up a pic of that White Line fail bike post fall recovery ASAP!
  • 3 0
Holy cow, the crash at 1:22 took the rider's hand clean off!
  • 2 0
Stubbs mcmtber. Went back and watched it after reading your comment and laughed my ass off. Didn’t even notice the first time.
  • 3 0
All Friday Fails should end on a 'kurva'
  • 2 0
Does anyone know the guy in the second clip? I’m curious what the bike looked like post skydive?
  • 2 0
It’s getting to the point where when I see someone riding in a tank top I instinctively cringe
  • 3 0
I cringe at any grown man in a tank top.
  • 1 0
What about J. Doerfling? No ones ever rocked one better.
  • 3 0
 Oh Kurva - up yours.
  • 2 0
Came here for the comments about the second one……
  • 1 1
Google the Dunning-Kruger effect, it’s literally the reason for all these fails. Little experience but high confidence never ends well.
  • 1 0
 0:15 Praise the cameraman/woman.
  • 1 0
Rock on bone always makes me cringe
  • 1 0
Jeez, I read "rock-on-boner" there for a minute.
  • 1 0
That Cove at 2:30 is such a blast from the past, holy cow.
  • 1 0
1:59 missed the curve but still a save
  • 1 0
Yeah I wouldn't call that a fail at all
  • 1 0
2:54 shooting for that invisible transition
  • 1 0
Lovely soundtrack this time around! Also we need more slomo sound.
  • 1 0
who here wants to buy a "Zach, you okay?" t-shirt?
  • 1 0
To Zach’s dad: I’m with ya, bro!
  • 1 0
 Big sends big sends!
  • 1 0
 second clip is fire
