I just can't every week. It hurts me to much. Having said that that the pile up at 0:54 is pretty funny. And 1:34 deserves a save award for not dying.

Friday fails is like that those last 3 beers at the end of the night. I probably shouldn't but I can't help myself.

Wow this week is bonkers! So many original and surprising stuff, not only negative length drops by beginners or high speed high damage crashes.

Hitting a tree mid air, hitting a tree after landing, over shooting backflips, kid trying 360, riders riding on riders when a text message is being delivered, surprise branch on trail, a double camera angle shot, a splitting frame, a bike taking parting ways with the rider in a big ass wooden berm followed by the abandoned rider's shame slide, the clear DING at 1:58 when hitting the trail sign, an uncommitted guy getting karma hit by his bike, the good hearted laugh, the hyena laugh, the "disappearing in the bushes", the rock slab slide...

This video has it all.

Looks like a train wreck edition to me (o:

For you single riders out there, let the guy at 3:27 be a lesson for you: Don’t try to impress any ladies on the trail on Fridays.

Great job catching that frame snap on camera. Ouch!

 JRA, man! I swear!

Did someone put that log on the transition? Some disgruntled hiker not liking jumps in their area?
  • 2 0
I was thinking the same thing.
  • 2 0
 Dick Dastardly at it again
  • 1 0
And did that rider lose his helmet?
  • 5 0
We used to have a hiker who did that. Called him "The Unalogger". He'd drag logs, sticks and brush across the trail on blind turns and downhills - sometimes he'd cover whole sections of trail. Rangers and riders thought they knew who it was, but took forever to catch him in the act and charge him.

Sadly we have scumbags like that here in Aus too...

 @Someoldfart: no
What you see are the goggles

Colorado… that’s prime deer hunting terrain.

@Edunik: MY EYES ZEE GOGGLES ZEH DO NOZTHING!

My OCD wouldn't let me ride that bike at 2:04 with all that noise. Sounds like the bike is about to fall apart.
  • 5 0
The whole reason he crashed was because of that terrible noise - his bike was protesting and finally kicked him off.

Starting off with a bang this week. That first hit of the tree was jarring.
  • 4 1
Camera guy decided to pan away and spare us the additional carnage? Why oh why? Please stay focused on the (late?) subject.

Props to the filming of 2 angles 1:26
  • 2 0
 Torille!

need a study done on how the probability of crashing skyrockets if other trail users are present...some of my worst OTB are always in front of hikers...."biker up!"...*crash*...

 “Biker down”

Guy at the beginning, what the hell? You are supposed to hit the tree when you miss the landing, not leading up to it.

2:27. Arms fully locked out? Check, Legs rigid? Check. What could possibly go wrong?

I have to admit that when I saw that ladder leaned up against the tree, my first thought was it was bound to play into the fail.

Imagine my disappointment when it proved to be just an innocent bystander. Then I flashed on to one of the immutable truths of drama: if you see a gun in the first act, it's going off in the third.

I'll be keeping my eyes open for future ladder shenanigans!

The descending technique at 2:21 was a fail in itself. The rest of the clip is redundant.
  • 3 0
@LucaP: I think the bike got pissed off and finally struck back. Win!
  • 4 0
Dudes in khaki shorts... always gonna end well
  • 4 0
1:37 - is my bike okay? No, no it is not.
  • 2 0
What do people have against knee or elbow pads? They tried like 2 brands and think they can't find a comfortable pair out of the 20 some odd manufacturers?
  • 4 0
A front flip attempt is never a fail
  • 4 1
The guy at 3:27... every guys biggest fear.
  • 2 0
guy at 0:35....broken collarbone, 5 broken ribbs and punctured lung... but he is fine ; )
  • 2 0
 But what about the bike?!

Good to hear he's OK
  • 2 0
 ATCHUNG Baby!
  • 3 0
the final crash on a green trail was great.
  • 2 0
The annoying Facebook notification at 0.58. Talk about adding insult to injury.
  • 3 0
No one beats the guy with the deer
  • 2 0
 MTB "Hardcore Parcore" at 1:29

Seriously though seemed like a pretty good save compared to what could have happened.
  • 2 0
Ok, enough Steve V and the Squamish French slabbers. Can we have an NF ad with the guy at 3:03?
  • 1 0
I just want a compilation of the people present reactions. “Oh my god michael!”, Nathaniel no!, you good, Nooo! Eww. And so forth.
  • 3 0
This was a good one, but so many filming fails!
  • 3 0
 Oh, the brutality!
  • 2 0
1:05, That is always a fear.
  • 1 0
Especially on a home turf trail you've ridden a couple dozen times. Been there, done that. Entire shoulder purple for a couple weeks, thankfully nothing torn or broken.
  • 2 0
@2.45 I always love to hear a little Muttley snicker from the cameraman.
  • 2 0
Fearless and skill less ! Smile
  • 2 0
Looks like Orange is not a safe color to wear.
  • 1 0
Some of the guys did better frontflips without trying than the guy trying to frontflip. I show myself out…
  • 2 0
1:40... "I was just riding along minding my own business and.."
  • 5 0
Followed up by any MTBR post about company x's bad warranty service.

Suggestion for the new pinkbike player: please make it support Chromecast like YewToob does.
  • 1 0
No more slow motion ? too bad...
Was very interesting to observe precisely what you don't want to do on a jump
  • 1 0
The expression "bike and body separation" comes to mind on some of these
  • 1 0
What is the noise at 2:08? Super annoying :/
  • 1 0
 @2:08 That squeaking! Arrgghh!!
  • 2 0
 Keep your distances!

 3:30, Shalemaster claims another victim.
  • 1 0
"Is this covered by the warranty? I was just riding along"
  • 1 0
Crashing on shale master would be scary(second last clip)
  • 1 0
 1:38 cause it's new bike day 3
  • 1 0
Frame breaking at 1:38 might be the best fail I've seen.
  • 1 0
No pain, no Gain Big Grin
  • 1 0
 3:00?!?! WTF?
