The level of broadcast event coverage has been awesome these past few years, keep it up!

I get its really a Red Bull ad, but just a blink of the current Champion seems a bit lame.

You think he can repeat? Some guys can, Nico, Gwin, Minnaar. They are always at the pointy end of the spear. Some guys get one moment of glory. Not an insult, just curious as to whether you think Amaury's got that kind of stuff?
  • + 1
@GOrtho: Good question, I think he can stay up near the top. Hard to believe he would fall off anytime soon if he can come back at pace after this off season. The most recent streak prior to his was Danny Hart's, and his has already stretched longer than that.
  • + 12
@GOrtho: I understand what you're saying, can he repeat as overall champion....but to win three WCs in one year and be overall champ is more than a moment of glory. That will make a career for almost any pro dh rider.
  • + 2
@GOrtho: Amaury had some great things sync up for him all in one season. Health, a 29er DH that suited the tracks & a frame that actually fit his frame.
This year will tell if he can keep rolling, but the eye test says No. Tracks this year are different, weather is going to throw a wrench in there somewhere to scramble stuff, his competition are all riding similar sized now across the board, a few injured folks will be healthier & hungry & most importantly he lost his millisecond edge as the year progressed.

So to win another, he'll have to do some leap frogging at unexpected places & pull back thosr tiny decimal points he let slip at year end.

World Cup Overall is a bear

@bizutch: I agree just based on history, but if he does put it together again he will show he has what it takes to be one of the greats.
  • + 1
@GOrtho: dont forget though, he was leading up to last season with some storming finishes in the '17 season.

such a sick edit! can't wait for the weekend!

That made me feel funny in my pants

Thanks for the video but I'm already fired up.

Heard over on Vital that Elliot Jackson is commentating on the live show. I thought it was still Warner and Claudio, is Jackson joining as a third commentator. I have to admit I like Elliot Jackson more than both the other two. He's always looking like he's having so much fun on and off the bike.

Minnaar, time for the return of the GOAT, this track suits mister smooth, epic battle awaits and never discount Maes the Goat in training...

The world cup is going to be amazing and this video definitely got me excited.

let's get things started already i can't watch goddamn golf!
  • + 4
 that scrub though......
  • + 1
Everything from 1:22 to 1:44 is nuts... I've never seen someone get so sketchy and hold it that many times in I assume is one run... Is that Brook?
  • + 9
I think you are talking about Danny Hart. That's his style, true full send rider.
  • + 1
@H3RESQ: Was he on Mondraker? I thought we was with Saracen for a few years?

Edit: I believe you're right. Looks like his kit/bike. Brook is also a bit of a bigger dude. I didn't know Danny rode like that!

@Ryan2949: you must be new to the sport!
  • + 1
@Ryan2949: Danny is an animal. Full send.

My favorite part is how unassuming he is in person...
  • + 4
@andydhteam: Only started watching last year round 2 I believe. But have been following instagrams, redbull live streams, etc religiously since!
  • + 4
@Ryan2949: you might want to check out Danny's 2011 World Champs run at Champery.
