Don't be fooled by the rapidly drying upper section, the bottom gets a little hairier. Nothing two veteran bicycle riders can't handle...— The Syndicate
I love that track,it is awesome. The first 2/3 are very fun to ride in a nice sunny day. At 1:35 if you go straight, there is a crazy incline and a left corner, both very fun to ride little,I remember my WTF moment there. Maybe I´m wrong, last time I rode that track was 2012 ,but my Alps trip was so awesome I can remember a lot of tracks and places like it was yesterday. I would come back 100% to ride that lovely track and many others!
That's the infamous 10 percent - braking bumps down there are so gnarly they'll rattle your fillings out... still, I won't feel so bad if I decide to skip it given that Minnaar and Peat did so (I was waiting to see how far they'd huck it).
think a lof of us had WTF moments on that thing. Can still remember the rodeo on my first time I chucked the bike into it, barely hung on. these guys make it all look so easy.
@IrishTom: I had a few more, one in a crazy corner in Chatel,it was so long and fast like it would never end... Another big one ridding some wood planks sections cos it was really high up over the ground, like flying over the trees. One rider from my group lost his new GoPro camera in an open right hand corner in the tall grass in that same track of the video,we spend 2 hours looking for the camera hahaha. Love Le Pleney, every day I came back to my Hotel there I finished with that track.
So jealous, should be over there in a few weeks but Covid restrictions and lack of money (lost my job last year) means that I'll again have to just watch videos instead. Hopefully 2022/23 will be a possibility.
