I was a big fan of this series until Redbull posted a behind the scenes video showing that all these sounds are fake! What a Bummer, now the series just seems hollow and cheapend!! great riding though...

Tis a joke just in case yall were wondering!

You watch videos with the sound on? Aren’t you worried your coworkers will know you’re slacking off?

@unrooted: Not when everyone is working remotely due to COVID Wink
  • 3 0
they seem to have reduced it a lot in the recent sound of speed episodes. Besides the slomo shots, it's all natural as far as I can tell!
  • 6 1
@luisgerstner: I kinda felt bummed because of the slowmo shots. The fewer effects the better. Wasn't that the core value of this series of videos?
  • 4 2
@southoftheborder: Bummed about a Clay Porter slow mo shot????? You cray cray bud
  • 8 4
@southoftheborder: that's probably because you can't record sound when shooting 1000 fps. And if you slow it down to the according speed, it will just sound f*cked up. That's why you have to find a different approach!
  • 6 1
@luisgerstner: Umm, there's nothing here close to 1000fps and you can adapt sound to the framerate. The second rate sound effects here broke the 4th wall pretty hard.

Really good riding and shooting though! Great job overall.

@skidmarkbro: the Clay Porter instagram slomos at World Cup/Champs this year was so damn good.
  • 1 0
@luisgerstner: My bike has never made that rewind sound...
  • 20 1
Love those edits with no music just the sounds of tires on dirt chain slapping and freehub ratchet...
  • 1 0
Yeah, they sound so good these days. The Vital MTB Raw edits are f****** great. Next year should be too!

Always surprising that folks who can’t make a video worth watching are so quick to discredit professional videos, more so when the videos are free.

Get a life, these videos are cool, esp when your trails are snowed in.

Oh, and Jill, she rips!

Her and Bryn make me want a Norco. Is that what they are supposed to do?
  • 19 0
Yes. Current Norcos are awesome and they do get that point across incredibly well. Jill Kitner rules.

@The-Foiling-Optimist: World Cups obv not for everyone, but it sure seems like she would do pretty darn well racing WCDH.
  • 2 0
For real. I know it's a shredit, and a different pov, but the riding looks more impressive than the top ladies runs at a typical wc race.

Jill Kintner, one of the coolest people in MTB. Awesome video, that was like a coaching lesson just watching her eyes.
  • 10 0
Stoked on that, always been a Kintner fanboy.... Intrigued on the Rapha kit! They are probably the furthest departure from Sombrio she could have gone. Wondering how the peanut gallery here will feel about this......
  • 2 0
sharp eyes! Their products used to be really good - don't know about them since the Wal-Mart acquisition.
  • 11 0
Damn, woman! From this moment onwards, all Chuck Norris memes will now be Jill Kintner memes.
  • 11 1
Love Jill Kintner! (Bryn and Jill are a power carving couple!) Sick edit Clay!!

 Bellingham sucks, don't move there.

Talk about being focused. The look of the eyes says it all. Nice shred!

 You're the real MVP
  • 5 1
Pinned!!!! Kintner is an amazing rider!!!!
  • 3 0
Ah, when really great riders do it so much better than you that a favorite trail becomes almost unrecognizable... haha
  • 4 0
Looks like a first sighting of the 2021 Rapha MTB stuff?
  • 3 0
My same thought. Zero branding tree pajamas.

Not gonna lie I'm interested. Now we know what it costs to not have a huge fox graphic on your mtb clothes: three times as much.

Worth it too probably
  • 5 0
 Jill, that was tight!!!
  • 4 0
 Jill is a badass !
  • 6 3
She's faster then you and most others as well!
  • 2 0
When are we going to get the real edit with a rider huffing, puffing and grunting their way up technical climbs?
  • 2 0
Great riding, but slightly weird editing. Not sure why we needed a slow-mo shot of the lower part of the wheels for example.
  • 3 0
Renthal and Kashima clashing forever! Great video!
  • 2 0
Kintner always inspires! For me it’s that focus/ flow state that I think I see.
  • 2 0
 Damn, that URL got slashed.
  • 2 1
Don't know what I miss more - Bellingham or summer.... Great video, such smoothness.
  • 1 0
Beautiful riding and setting, looks like really fun trails. Love the sound of speed.
  • 2 0
Wow! She shreds! Makes you want to ride
  • 3 0
 Ride like a girl!!!!!
  • 3 0
 I wanna be that fast

Tires set to full time attack mode...love hearing them grip like velcro.

Her PB, I paid for the TF Pro shit, can't you get rid of the damn pop up ads for us?
  • 2 0
Rad! Such a powerful riding style, and great filming too!
  • 1 0
Wicked video! As an alternate sound track Jill could be shredding with ACDC's "Back in Black" blasting!
  • 2 0
That was sweet. It looked like she was running like 88 psi.
  • 1 0
Aah! I can't watch it. It says 'an error occured' Noooooooooooo...
  • 2 0
 Linky no worky
  • 2 1
Dry and dusty? I thought Bellingham got rain?
  • 4 0
It can get pretty dry through the summer and early fall.
  • 5 4
@Hairymountainbeast: Colorado called. It told you to STFU.
  • 4 0
@fullendurbro: SoCal called, laughed at your STFU.
  • 2 0
Sure doesn't look like that in Western WA right now.
  • 3 0
@scvkurt03: This actually made me curious so I looked it up. Looks like we're pretty similar with LA having a slightly lower average over the past twenty years, but the last two years in Denver we've had less than CA by 3" of rainfall or snow water equivalent.

Thank god for the Assegai fighting climate change conditions.

@scvkurt03: Utah called, told you to hold its beer.
  • 1 0
@fullendurbro: Tire of choice down here too. I think AZ may have us both beat, but rumor has it all they have are sharp rocks, so who knows. I wonder if you guys get lower average humidity than us, seeing as how we're by the coast and have some foggy mornings between early fall and late spring...
  • 1 0
@scvkurt03: AZ trails feel remarkably similar to Southern Utah trails. But with bigger cacti that you really don't want to hit.

I also went back to Dr. Google for the humidity question. Looks like Denver has a much lower average humidity by 20% (36.8 vs 52.6). And that's a good thing because I hate humidity more than I hate Yeti.

 Awesome

 Love that lady!
