Carson Storch returns to the hills of Whistler, Canada to preview the 2019 Red Bull Joyride slopestyle course. The redesigned venue will challenge some of the world's best bike handlers this Saturday for the final round of Crankworx FMBA Slopestyle World Championship.

Staged in the “Boneyard,” the dirt stadium at the base of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park, Joyride offers the best slopestyle mountain bikers on the planet two runs – that’s two chances for glory, two opportunities to throw down high-scoring tricks and move up the leader board, and two moments in time to leave their mark on the history of the sport. The 14 best riders in the world bring their A-game to this invitational showcase, interpreting a custom-built course and giving it their all.

All four events in the quest for the Crankworx FMBA Slopestyle World Championship are broadcast LIVE on Red Bull TV.

Whoever was flying that drone and filming has some skills. When they dropped in at first I thought it was a rider next to him with a steadicam or something. Course looks great too!

Then missed keeping the rider or course in frame there after....

@PsBmx: Ya felt like we were following him via roller coaster after the start

I thought the rider following was going to case that first flat drop hahaha, then realized it was a drone

My god. Causally talking like he is sitting next to you on a park bench whilst flat drop flipping that. Insane. Carson is the man. Just riding that course I'd be scream crying my way through it followed by whispering for someone to call an ambulance while my dad bod lays broken in a combo scorpion/ fetal position pose. Get at me Pinkbike if you are into that for next year.

This course has me stoked. Having options really allows a rider to be more creative, and should make watching more interesting. Throwback to the old Joyride courses that had tons of different options and creative features

This seems like the right amount of features, super sick course....cant believe they demo the course every year to rebuild the next year, so much work.

Getting out on track at 6 am (guesstimate by the position of the sun!?) and sending that course is a new level of gnar, I'd still be half asleep on the couch sipping coffee lol

Why does everyone bitch about "film quality" ? I am just happy to be able to see this great content !!! ( Coming from someone who doesn't even have HD at home ) LOL

That was a terrible edit, great drone footage lost in the editing room. Carson tried hard to give good info and content and unfortunately none of it was omitted. It’s called “flow,” just like the riders love it so do the viewers.

I don't think he actually touched the RB can at the start, haha.
