Video: Kye A'Hern's 3rd Place Run from the Thredbo Cannonball DH 2022

 I was happily working away at making this for you... But I've gotten so confused. When putting Kye and Dean's clips together, I made sure to match their finish frames and keep Dean's crossing 7 seconds back from Kye's. But then the starts don't match up at all. Not only that, but the start gate set up in both clips looks totally different and they started in different spots. When I tried to match the clips by start time (basically aligning both clips to pass a trash can at the same time) the finishes are totally different, they're like 2.5 apart. I can't tell if I'm completely missing something about DH run timing to make this video work. Maybe I'll just post it so people understand what I did wrong?

 @lepigpen: dont quote me on this, but the timing actually starts just before the hit the fire road up the top, not out of the "gate" under the tent.

So 7 seconds in at the orange witches hats..... I think.

 @Brasher: Yeah the starts were so different I picked the end of the cobble and start of the fire road to match them up. And it still wasn't quite the right times. But it makes sense I guess because that ain't the finals. Unless he like... crashed in qualies and was so early on the start list that the crowd wasn't quite at the track yet.

Just bummed because I was losing my mind in Resolve trying to line the clips up. I still might post it but just match their finish crossings instead...
