Never call Last Run, unless it's the Last Run Down at Mountain Creek Bike Park. Nearly 300 bikers participated in the ceremonial last run of the season at the New Jersey resort this past Sunday. Here's a rider's eye view of the mayhem that ensued. A downhill equivalent of navigating the New Jersey Turnpike at rush hour.

Few years back there were 3 lads on a tandem + kid trailer for Last Run. Was by far the most impressive bike handling I've ever seen.

That was me, Sharky, and Ant Knee. We made it half way down before front rim folded from too much front braking. Ant Knee attached his kids trailer bike to our friend James DH bike to continue on down. While sharky and I placed the rim on a large rock and jumped on it to get it back in shape. We got it back in some what rideable shape and rode on down till the last 100ft before the wheel folded again and snapped. It was great!

Haven't lived in NJ for a long time but it's roughly the mtb equiv of what I remember about the GSP or Turnpike but with less profanity.

There‚Äôs a bike park outside of whistler?

Pretty sure lift access mountain biking originated on the east coast of the US at Mt. Snow but correct me if I'm wrong. But if that's the case Whistler is just another copy cat mountain.
