bigquotesThis was by far one of the most craziest days we had on the trip! We linked up with Yoann and his friend and hit one of the gnarliest tracks in Squamish. Watch the full video as we break down each feature and get in some wild moments! Lewis Buchanan

Great collaboration! Vids like this make you appreciate just how crazy these lines are! Yoann, Remy, and Steve make it look way too easy!

Being Welsh and spent a lot of time riding in Wales, Scotland and Canada - realised you need to know your rocks. Here is a quick guide:

Wales - all rocks are slate. Bit of grip when dry. No grip when wet. Sliperer than ice when covered with Autumn leaves
Scotland - not so much slate and lots of grippy granite but like Russian roulette to work out which one you’re on.
Canada - granite - this stuff rocks - you can stop on nearly vertical.

If in doubt - move to Canada

I wouldn't say Canada as much as Squamish lol. Not all of our rocks are like that... drive 45 mins to Whistler and a lot of the rocks there are totally different than Squamish.

@tvan5: there's even different rock types depending on what side of the valley you are riding in whistler. and then again completely different again in pemberton.

I am liking Yoann more and more thru the years. I appreciate the fact that he doesn't throw around some divk online store with a discount code. lives local, rides local, supports local. respect!

I would love to know what brake pads Yoann is running. I would like to avoid those.

Such sick lines…these guys are beasts

His brake pads are actually silent. That is a gang of terrible violinists that follow him everywhere he rides.

Cold or wet metallic pads. They stop making noise when they get to temperature. All metallics are the same.

Better go quick! The area where all the slab trails are is slated for a housing development.

Riding his front wheel down that stuff. All front wheel tread, brakes, etc, on the slabs. VERY IMPRESSIVE! The various angles from the top, side and bottom really shows how gnarly those lines are. Nice video.

The steep into the left hander on Sauerkraut needs to be seen to be appreciated
