I must be watching too much POV, because for an armchair DH, I am starting to really learn these tracks. I have never been to any of them, yet I find myself anticipating what's coming up. The pro's make this look so easy.

I guess it's kinda like music. When the song is playing it's easy to remember, when its not, it's easy to forget.

Thanks for a great track preview!! No annoying head shots, body shots, front wheel perspective or other distracting angles, just the track!

Too rough for words. Wow, that's the nastiest track I have seen. Good luck Luca!

Heading up there tomorrow to watch the show. I was half watching the insane track and half trying to figure out where I wanna watch from for finals. Probably going to start at the top and work my way down from there as the race processes. Beyond pumped!!!!

 You’re a lucky person! Enjoy!

First and second rock gardens in the lower half of the track are were people are the most rowdy and where the action is the most epic. I highly recommend you spend at least part of the race in there!

When I was there I did just that. But, with a pack full of beers. Have fun. It's a killer course to walk an be there in person.

@joshua22: We are going to try and catch asome of the junior race (my friends I go with are lazy af in the mornings, so we’ll see) and all of the women’s race. Should have a good idea where we want to be as the men come down. But definitely wanna be at the bottom when the last rider crosses the line. We will also be carrying a cooler...

Beyond excited to see this. No idea how this race is gonna play out, so many riders in the mix on such an epic track.

It may just be me, but i think the camera tech is too good. I know its rough, i can see its rough, i can hear its rough but i still like to see how rough it is! It looks like drone footage flying down the course

It's the rider who is able to keep his body still and let the bike flow under him.

Trust me, If you would see me crawl down that course the camera action would make everyone seasick Big Grin

No thanks. Its nice to see what they are riding instead of a shaky blur. Just fucking put on some metal and headbang till you have a headache if you still pine for the days of shitty unstabilized footage.

Pinned run, Gee and Claudio look way off line and pace by comparison. As much as Minnaar is my first choice for chamo, would be great to see Luca step up and shut up his critics, all year he has been improving and this might be the mental boost he needs to take the top step of the podium. Smooth Fast and young. Go Syndicate Boys, you to Loris, love you even if you're french.

Man, the technology of these action cams makes it look like he's just hovering down the track.

"HOLY SHIT. Now that is a race course!"

Literally the worlds that came out of my mouth as he went through the rocks around 3:40. Super pumped!

That turn/jump over the rock in the beginning always makes me pucker. Would end very badly for me even w the same amount of speed.

Denim Destroyer spotted at 1:15 Wink

Couldn't hear a word over the beating that his wheels were taking. Brutal.

Just had to peel my hands off my keyboard and mouse after watching that. People are wondering why i'm doing the Brosnan arm shake in the office
  • 1 0
If that were me, you wouldn't be able to hear anything over my heartbeat going ballistic. Amazing how calm and smooth Luca is.

Whoever wins the race on that track on Sunday will be a worthy world champion.
  • 9 7
not....a....word! missing that play by play we get from Claudio and Gee
  • 2 4
Not me, I like Claudio and Gee but whenever they're talking I'm just wincing for them because you can tell they can barely breathe let alone give me a play by play of the track in ragged gasps while I'm sitting here eating a burrito or something

There must be someone to run these previews that can do a Barelli style voice over...
