Same guy did the Pemby Enduro and started the last stage 30 seconds ahead of me and finished on a flat rear tyre - I didn't get close to catching him with air in both tyres and full suspension.
Anyone know what trails they used? I'm going to Whistler later in the year and I'm more interested in these trails than the A-line and Dirt Merchant style trails.
The non-bike park trails included Big Timber, Beaver Pass, Micro Climate, Golden Boner, and Roam in the Loam. Just a small sampling of the trails in Whistler if you're looking for something other than the bike park.
In this race they have to wear a full face on all timed downhill stages and there is a BC law that all cyclists must wear a helmet. Some chose to wear an xc lid up and then carry it down on their back (two helmets) while others wear the full face the whole time.
The other day I was deciding on what helmet I should buy, deciding between a D3 and an enduro style helmet. I went with the D3, and this video just justified that decision.
That was so nice to watch a video that showed just normal Mtn. Biking !!
