I wanted to make a short video to show my riding ability during my preparation for the 2015 race season. In such a competitive year in the sport I wanted a video that would stand out and catch peoples attention. Calin had been talking with me about making a video for a while so we chose a weekend and went for it. We spent two days filming at local tracks near Inverness and Nairn, battling with the weather on the second day we managed to send some hucks and get some rad shots.

In 2014 I've been consistently climbing through the junior ranks, improving and learning new things all the time. I was chosen for the inaugural SDA Academy at the end of the year and will be training with Dirt School during the winter.

I'd like to thank Marked Mediahouse for the continued support over the year and the awesome photography at every race. It's also a huge confidence boost that a large company like Muc-Off see enough potential in me to offer support for 2015.

This photo was taken on the first day before the weather turned against us. The 2014 Carbon Devinci Wilson is my weapon of choice for the upcoming season.

I have big plans for the year ahead so look out for me at all the BDS and SDA races in the UK. I'm looking forward to getting back to racing and seeing what i can do.

All the best mate... But maybe next time show some proper DH stuff.. I'm sure you've got great skills.. But half the video was "arty" stuff.. And the other half looked like cruising a trail centre trail. Keep working hard and I'm sure you'll do well though.. Smile

Thanks man! I'll try get onto the gnarlier stuff next time, we had to cut the first day short because I stacked it and injured myself so we didn't get a chance to film the steeper tracks up there. There's always next time!

It was ok on Sunday morning.... but it was hungry and ate a rider.

John's efforts on that place lead to some super sick riding in all weathers but DD, that's straight out of a horror movie.
