The endless steps of Bogota, Columbia. Perfect for an MTB Downhill Race, right? Red Bull Monserrate Cerro Abajo is the longest and probably toughest Urban Downhill Race out there. Jump on a run with @Pedro Burns, who placed 4th during this legendary showdown.—Red Bull Bike
Is it just me or are these getting worse? Just didn't look like a fun course, no real flow, loads of points where momentum just ground to a halt, and not that much creativity shown in terms of the built bits.
The video and POV do it no justice you have to go there and walk down it to have a true understanding, it was way more than i was expecting after only watching these before going, and actually really fun aside from the big pedal section, its the most suited urban race to a dh rider i think.
@wynmasters: Fair enough, and yep, I am writing from the point of view of someone who hasn't been there or seen it in the flesh. It may be a good one for the racer, but still think it doesn't make a great race for a viewer...
Colombia. Not Columbia. Bogota is missing an accent on the 'a'. I'm annoyed and I'm not even from there, @Red Bull Bike. If you need editor/translator/interpreter services, hit me up.
