Video: Phil Atwill, Gaetan Vige and Max Hartenstern Ride the Les Gets World Cup Track

Les Gets Bike Park has just released this video of the Cube Global Squad testing out the new World Cup stop in Les Gets and it looks set to be raced on the Crankworx track we've seen over the past few years. The track is old school, wide open and super fast, tracing a similar path to the classic track of the turn of the millennium. We couldn't see any significant changes from the video but with track walk coming tomorrow afternoon we'll have the full lowdown soon.

A full preview from Luca Shaw riding it at Crankworx last year is below:

No disrespect to the Cube guys, but I'm sure the track will be better than it looks in that video

The track will at least sound better raw than generic marketing track 1

I’m not. Still it will be funny watching everyone waddle down if it rains.

I hope so. One of the blue trails at my closest bike park looks more World Cup than this trail. But that’s just from the vid.

It might not be super tech but I remember that the riders all said they were super stoked on the track when it was introduced for crankworx...
It’s also a very challenging track race wise, there not being too many lines to choose neither it being to varied, setup and line choice should be easier...
Riders will be scratching their heads trying to gain some advantage somehow for finals!

trust me this addition to the wc calender is a step in the right direction les get is a classic stop judging on footage it takes all kinds of tracks conditions bike set up to give us the best rider at each event and ultimately the series best.lets applause the uci for throwing in some new venues and places like les gets for bidding

true dude ! les gets is a sick track

Flat turns at speed are harder than they look. The more experienced riders will be more comfortable. Old Dh tracks always had sections like that. Now they arent riding bikes with 68° head angles though. Its going to separate out the riders that depend on big berms. Look forward to a good race. Go GOAT

Looks like flat turn after flat turn...

Looks like a blue bike park trail from video, not a World Cup DH track.

The Cube vid did it no justice - Shaw's vid was damn fast. Looks fun.

From what I've seen from Crankworx, the Les Gets track looks boring af. People complain about Leogang being too easy but does Les Gets actually have any tech at all?

 flat turns are easy?

I recently hire a Cube bike in the Pyrenees, it was a terrible mistake.
