@doubledogdare: I’m sure that’s a bit of a joke, but there’s literally a trail called “cut yer bars” in Whistler. Lots of old school trails have knuckle buster trees!

Pretty crazy trail building going on there! Props to the builders, I’m sure they spent a lot of time dialing that place in.

Yeah, there is some great work been done there in the last couple of years (that's a big THANK YOU to te builders!!). There are some great flow and jump zones plus some pretty awesome tech stuff (like Goldmine/Cabin Trail) up there too!!

DAMN!! Havent been to the woodlot in years! MUST go soon. Looks like Platinum 2.0!!

Is the trail on trail forks or is it a finder?
  • 1 0
My exact thought! Platinum reborn...those were the days.

Rode Platinum last weekend. More of a loamer now but some building is happening to breathe some new life into the trail. Worth checking out!

Been a while since I've seen a Gully edit on PB! What was that at the end? Looks like the doorway to Bilbo Baggin's house!

I was thinking the same, the last time I wrote it was about 10 years ago and now it’s way beyond my skill level or comfort zone hahaha

@lastminutetech: yeah all those nice soft wooden lips on the landings... case city for this old dog. I’ll pull out all the excuses if I found myself on that trail now. I’m old, the wife will kill me, I’ve already broken a hip... hahaha

First part looked sweet but I'm so glad people don't build wood features like that on the trails I ride.
