Just when I feel real good about my riding, thinking I’ve gained some speed and a bit of style I watch a vid such as this one and realise I am complete and utter squid.

Great music, full face lid, intense riding, filmed really well, LOVED IT

Full face just makes everything looks so much more badass, make quite a difference to edits I think. I get the point of half shells, if you have a lot of climbing, but they just look pretty lame at the end of the day.

@JamesGTi: yeah just adds speed and drama IMO,

@JamesGTi: bring back half shells and face masks 80’s bmx style I say

I’ll say it again. Riding bikes is extending your childhood by indulging in unadulterated fun.
Cuties, wheelies, jumps...skids(!)= fun. If you do it for excercise, shame on you...go jogging!
Trailbuilding, which I am sure R-Dog does, balances it all out

 Cuties and cutties alike!

newbie question - doesn't skidding on the berm like that mess it up for other riders (long term)?

Yea, its severely over used in videos, and looks dated and cheesy if you ask me. I mean, its not like RDog needs to do this, his riding is amazing. Do it once, yea but over use ruins the video.

 He’s not skidding
  • 21 1
Considering it's a sculpted berm that he and his film crew packed some more and smoothed prior to filming, no. No negative impact.
  • 10 1
He isn’t touching his brakes while hitting those berms. When you properly weight the front tire and snap a turn, your rear wheel will drift, as you see in this video.

I'd say that since these are my home trails. It's all loose and dusty right now. All of it. Perfect for slapping ze berms. They do their part in trying to repair the trail after. This is a trek video. They aren't going to cunt out just to cunt out..
  • 4 0
@bizutch: exactly.....this is a trail he most likely built with his he can rip it as hard a he wants to!
  • 7 0
@Richardgoose R Dog spends as much time manicuring berms as he does destroying them.
  • 1 3
that's a proper edit. take note Nukeproof.
