Awesome to see them rerouting trails by creating new high outside wide lines instead of using the lame, tight hiker switchback trails. My ideas are catching on at the highest levels of the sport!

@DoubleCrownAddict: Not totally new, but more about marking the coarse out better & wider so faster flowing lines develop !

 1000 skids later...

Everyone said "F**K YOU" to that innocent Italian hillside in the first trail section...hahaha. Poor trail maint guys.

They don’t do trail maintenance in Europe.

Not poor trail maintenance guy, but just poor trail. These are usually centuries old trails destroyed in a couple of day… riding switchbacks is not super fun or flowy but it is a part of riding in the Alps.

 @Snowsed341: looks sick!

1:59 as well, looks like the same basic idea as the switchblade/mach6/trail429. It'll be interesting to see what the geo is, Pivot seems pretty stuck on very short chainstays and seat tubes that aren't that steep.

@MountainJnky: It is literally the new firebird

Such a cool video, more please.
Enduro = 180mm single crown fork, 170mm out back
Dh = 180-200mm dual crown fork, 200mm out back.

or is it,
Enduro=12speed wide cassette with shorts and not so tight top (well if you are Sam Hill anyway).
DH=7 speed road cassette and pretty much lycra.

The folk in full trousers, if there is much pedalling, that has to be torture in any heat.

I generally only ride in trousers, but switched to shorts for a ride recently on a hot day. In all honesty, I didn't notice any real difference in how hot I felt. It felt like the main thing that altered how hot I got was the type of kneepads I was using. The only noticeable change was the amount of random scratches on my lower legs from trail foliage/debris...

That said, I do have a lighter pair of fairly well ventilated trousers I ride in so that may be part of it too. I'm sure that any of the people riding in trousers there will have some along those lines too - if so, it's no real difference in temps.

Sam Hill, the only one keeping his feet on the pedals.

The pole was doing some creaking
  • 1 0
That was the first thing I noticed. Was it a creak or the frame screaming!!!

 New Norco's?

 no high pivot = obsolete

 Sam Hill @1:30?
  • 1 1
RR me thinks. Sam doesn't show up until nearly the end and then he is just rolling thru.
  • 2 0
RR is not on Chain Reaction Cycles, it's Elliott Heap
