James Ivory had to shut down his business due to Covid19, so he used his time to build a trail for us to enjoy!

Ride BC is James's company. He will guide you and coach you in Squamish and around once the situation allows it. The times are tough for so many businesses around. Help James out by checking his website and treat yourself with some awesome tips and guiding!

You can find the trails we rode on Trailforks:

I assume 'Take Out The Donut' is so named to encourage Levy out of the home office and doing a full feature on the Grim Donut?!

James is the man. Have had him guide me in Squamish 4 times now and as soon as the border opens up I will be back for another! Highly recommend his company!!!

The "Go-Pro" effect is very real for this video. I took a stroll up there today and that first rock roll with the berm at the bottom is STEEP! Like near vertical steep. I don't think I'll be stepping up to that one any time soon.

Great riding community in Squamish and Ridebc is a true example of it. James is an awesome guide. His knowledge of trail design and coaching really allows you to see the trail and ride as intended! His supporting cast are great too. To ride with a Pro racer, Laura, is an amazing, humbling, and inspiring experience. I can’t recommend this company enough. Btw, if you ever want to learn more about all those beautiful rocks in Squamish ask James...he’s a geologist...Ridebc is a win win win no matter what!

This is awesome, good work! I wish we could just "go build a trail" when we felt like it or had time. Unfortunately...they would literally arrest me haha. Sad.

The trail looks sick! Also that Quarantine Climb is going to be a lot more fun than the previous one up to Take the Do-nut. Great work James!

That climb is not getting much love on those Trailforks ratings though! Has anyone ridden it - what's the deal?
  • 1 0
@djyosh: I rode it today. It's challenging, but a lot more fun than a hike-a-bike

Looks fun.... in EVERYONE's Instagram. haha. Shout out to the landowner for being cool with it!

I have ridden that area once and we ended up on this trail, holy hell the climb/hike was nuts, this look a lot better. Time for a road trip once the border is open this fall. Thanks James and all the other locals.

Rode it yesterday those slabs are a blast! The gopro effect is very real.

I read the title as "Remy Metailler takes out the new Grim Donut".
  • 10 0
It would've been titled "Remy Metailler and Le Croissant Sinistre."
