Race Day

Highlights

bigquotesThe final Enduro World Series of the year, EWS Loudenvielle, did not disappoint.

Race day saw some of the toughest conditions of the year, as heavy rain turned the already challenging tracks into something altogether more treacherous. But with Series titles on the line, there was no room for mistakes and riders had to push well and truly out their comfort zone.

Amongst the mud and the high peaks of the Pyrenees, new champions were born and crowned the 2022 Enduro World Series Champions.

Pro Stage

Highlights

bigquotesThe last EWS pro stage of the tenth season of Enduro World Season went down at EWS Loudenvielle, this afternoon.

The Pro Women's and Pro Men's overall titles remain up for grabs and in the former it was Morgane Charre who drew first blood with a win. In the latter it was a Frenchman racing in France, Youn Deniaud, who won the stage. Behind him was Jesse Melamed honing in on that overall winners title.

Misspent Summers

bigquotesSquids on tour, the finals. It's the last round of the 2022 EWS in Loudenvielle this weekend, and boss photographer Sven Martin takes us on a tour of some of the race stages.

The tracks are tech, dusty, and G-NAR. If the forecasted rain comes in, it's going to be an interesting weekend out there.

Has Sven gone too corporate? Boris seems to think so.

Jack is my favourite rider to watch. I fantasize about cornering like he does. This is his race to lose.

@betobi: yes! with a climbing stage! It's easy to scoff at but they end up doing like 8K feet climbing, with 1 or 2 timed tech/steep climbs. Even with an eeb that's a big day.
