I'd comment on it but can't bring myself to watch a video with that shill in it.

@mtb-scotland: Shill? Does he not declare his sponsorships or something?
  • 3 0
@mtb-scotland: yet here you are commenting... Hope we can swing your opinion round so you can enjoy the all new GoPro series, if anything it'll get you fired to ride - nothing but good times!

I recall all the trails in the video from our Winter '19 trip to La Palma. Not the easiest bike destination to travel to from BC's Interior, but so worth it. Trails are mostly advanced and seem endless in length. You can easily spend a week of riding without hitting the same trail twice. Surreal experience dropping in at almost 3000m elevation, looking out at the Atlantic Ocean with nothing in-between you and the East Coast of America. Amenities are great, including fantastic restaurants and accommodation. Puerto Naos seems to be the hotspot for the MTB scene, personally I preferred Los Llanos for a less touristy feel and old town flair. Check out www.lapalmafreeride.com for the island's best bike shuttle options.

Living in Gran Canaria (same island as Jorge, the spanish rider in the video), we have been riding La Palma many times and entering the island´s Enduro and DH races (there is an 8,2 km dh race....) and it is just incredible. We always organize the trips through flow trails www.flowtrailslapalma.com and can't recommend them enough. My company now wants me to move to Virgina Beach, VA... and, by the looks of it, seems like there is no riding over there... must resist here!

Am I the only one who’s done with these POV youtuber vlogs? I used to really enjoy them now I can’t get past the two min mark without switching off.

@laxguy: yeah agreed and they’re all super fake. Few years ago there wasn’t any money in it. People just did them for fun and that’s why they were good, because they were genuine. Nowadays it’s just full off clout chasers who are just trying to get something out of it for themselves and it comes across on screen. You can tell it’s not just for fun anymore. Soon as someone starts asking for money or mentions patron. I’m unsubscribing. Ha

The Canary Islands are one of the best destinations to go: it offers you everything you may wish-rocky, dusty and very green jungle trails within one Island. And add to that great and friendly people, excellent food and you are like never wanna go home....

Am the only one that thinks it is a huge bummer that you have to shoot a POV Trail video to win the equipment to shoot a POV Trail Video?! Shouldn't the equipment go to people that can't afford it? Some kid out there without the means would be so stoke to get this stuff.

@Geot74 Love your sunglasses, they look so retro! BTW I asked my wife's hand in La Palma on the sunset, the beach in Puerto Naos the west side of the island is perfectly positioned: www.canarieslive.com/la-palma
