by Red Bull Bike

Look back at how the 2018 Crankworx season went for Brett Reeder, Nicholi Rogatkin, Thomas Genon and other riders. From Rotorua, Les Gets and Innsbruck to Whistler, there were many highs and as many lows, which made for another thrilling season.

Nothing against Rheeder, but he should just be happy for Rogatkin and take the overall win instead of saying, "it wasn't a win."

Rogatkin is a solid guy and competitor. Very humble yet extremely competitive. Couldn't be happier for him.

Rheeder should just shut up when doing interviews. It's making him look real miserable. I get it, he's real good on the bike but come on, he should at least be grateful for winning the overall.

@fatfingur: I agree his interviews are letting him down

gettin real hard to be a fan of rheeder lately. I like his riding style a lot more, but man I can't disassociate those interviews from his talent.

Was definitely rheeder>rogatkin type deal for me, but rheeders interviews were something else so now its rogatkin>rheeder

Rheeder may have a smoother style on the bike, but Rogatkin definitely has better style in the interviews...

out of all the riders when they were in whistler, only Rogatkin acknowledge us when we were watching them from the lift. I have nothing but respect for this guy now.

Rheeder is serious for a racer nvm a slopestyle athlete. Have a little fun man. We love watching you ride but it takes away from it if you seem miserable.

Rogatkin was robbed in his first run in Rotorua. No question.

Great recap!! I was all the CWX events this year but this vid really told the story well!

Rheeder has turned into Semenuk. Incredible talent, and completely lackluster sportsmanship.

@rallyimprezive: That’s what I was thinking too... Rheeder is getting too competitive and that mindset is getting to him.... Rogatkin is very competitive as well but as he said is not letting the stress get the best of him! And not sure if noticed but on the second run in Joyride when Rheeder took the lead, Rogatkin instead of getting straight faced like Rheeder would have done, had almost a smirk on his face and was ready to take the challenge head on!!!!

And as others have said, Rogatkin’s interviews are awesome to listen to compared to Rheeder wanting to throw it away and forget some contest runs!

Is Rheeder gonna shell up like Semenuk, if Rogatkin or some of the other top riders start taking over in 2019 early on?

great recap, But I think that rheeder's sportmanship isn't bad, he was still happy for rogatkin, If you met him you would now that he's a super nice dude

But we can't all meet him - so his on-screen behavior is all we have to go on.
