Must Watch: William Robert is Smooth & Stylish in 'Glow in the Dark'

by Norco Bicycles

The newest addition to the Norco team, freerider William Robert, spent 3 months creating his ultimate riding spot near his home just outside Paris, France. He managed to complete the work and put together this rippin’ edit in the nick of time before the country went on lockdown.

The light was dim, and the weather wasn’t always cooperative over the four-day shoot, but he aligned the stars to create “Glow in the Dark” to brighten all of our days.

bigquotesFor me it was important to do this video, because I have worked super hard to build a spot like this close to my home. I worked every day for 3 months in the woods, more than 10 days with an excavator, and had a lot of help from friends to build the spot. But I’m super happy about the result and can’t thank the mayor of my hometown enough for giving me the chance to build this. I think it’s a dream for everyone to build their own riding spot and I got to bring mine to reality.William Robert

When they compare your edists with Semenuks edits, you are doing more than well! Keep up good work, hope to see you at Rampage..

I actually loved those greyish colors. I guess that the reason why monsieur Gauguin left Paris for some Taihiti chicks

All his work will pay off one day: he ll be at rampage... He's skilled and fast, does more tricks than vinny t who's at rampage. He deserves it

You can't compare him to vinny T dude, they don't have the same riding style.. I really like both of them and I'm so happy they're French, but vinny is a free rider, so agressive rider, in the mountains (PDS area) where Robert comes from Paris, he is more trick oriented.

Vinny T was people's choice award, not a bad rider..

But I really hope William will get his spot to rampage, he deserves it so much!!

@luap: Man Coming from Paris doesnt mean je cant freeride , he's a freerider too not a Racer .. just doesnt live in Bernex..

William was 1 spot away from Rampage right behind Emil at the proving grounds this year or am I mistaken

Dude what are you talking about look like they have about the same bag of tricks to me, and Vinny is probably one of the best tech\big mountain riders in the field and sure as hell would be way faster then William Robert.

Don’t know why your hating on Vinny, most people bitch that Rampage should be more freeride instead of freestyle then you complain about his bag of tricks which is pretty much the same tricks that everyone does out there except for some of the heavily slopestyled background riders.

His got no less tricks then Nell or Strait who are always in the top 10.

@luap: AGreed Billy Bob is almost like a slopestyle rider on a DH bike. Rampage is steep and exposed on a whole new level. He should sepnd some time in the mountains with some of the other great french riders and then put it all together @ Rampage
