Video: Stefan Mueller Turns His Bike into a Lawnmower in Self-Isolation

Is this the best #stayathomebikechallenge yet? Stefan Mueller has converted his bike into a lawnmower so he can keep fit, do chores and obey lockdown at the same time.

While we imagine this probably isn't covered under warranty, it's great to see Stefan getting creative while under lockdown and also wearing a helmet to ensure his local health service isn't overwhelmed if he has a crash.

The Austrian rider fired us through a picture of his creation in all its glory:

With lawnmower racing already an established sport in the UK, can we expect the UCI to sanction a new discipline of cycling competition soon? We'll keep you updated when we hear more.

- 2 wheels front for better stability
- new wheel size
- new hub "standard"

 The seat post angle was almost steep enough to satisfy Mike Levy but the head angle was very old-school. Surprisingly though, hey posted his fastest over-all lap time on this bike.

 Scary on the fast downhills with no front brake, you would have to Mow down some small trees to slow down.

 I did this last year but I took a gas powered push mower and connected it to an old child carrier frame. It was much better to pull it and it mowed SO much better. Two birds; one stone

 It would actually be even better if you could hook it up to the rear and use the gears to drive the blade even faster than normal while driving the wheels slowly. Having had one of these, I often dreamed of getting it geared up correctly.
