Steven Walton headed up to Mammoth Mountain for the last race of the season and was able to end the year with a bang! On the all new, strenuous downhill track nicknamed "The Velociraptor", he was able to pilot his Hyper downhill bike to an impressive 5th place finish in Pro Men!

 Wow. A Walmart bike [apparently] survived Mammoth.
Doesn't mean I'm any closer than I was pre-video to making Walmart my LBS now however.

 I am ok with anyone who will give a young kid a hand getting to a race (Hyper). And yes I will still be going to my local LBS as well.

 Wow! I recognize that start platform immediately! (Velocity) or Velociraptor as it is called now, we raced that back in 2001 I believe. Could have been 2000. I'll never forget that coarse and how awesome it was. It should I say, is.. Anyways, nice film cut. Congrats on your finish, I know it wasn't easy. Props to ya! Thanks for the flash back! Good memories!
