In this fourth episode of Ludo May's serie "Let's ride", we take you to the best mountain bike trails in Verbier in the Swiss Alps for a long (very long) day with Yann and Iso. On this June 21, Ludo took advantage of the longest day of the year to ride all the "classics" of the region (Col de Mille, Vertigo, Vallon d’Arbi, Jackass et Pierre Avoi) in one day. With quite a bit of negative vertical drop, the bodies were put to the test, but the quality of the trails and the panoramic views made this one of the most epic days of the season. Enjoy!

Top tip. If you looking for a cheaper version if you stay on the campsite at champsec they give you a VIP pass that gives you 50% off the price of the lift pass. You can ride trail back to the campsite for the bike park home at the end of the day so it’s all good

How do you get to the Le Chable gondola station? It's a little bit over 4 km and about 100m vertical up. Doable with enduro bike, but with DH bike not so nice.

@mcharza: From the campsite to the lift is flat and downhill all the way along a fire road all. The biggest up is about 5m at a junction. Coming home you take a red trail out of the back of the top of the bike park (Shown as blue on Trailforks) This takes you down to Sarrayer across the river and your 400m from the campsite. Alternatively come down the very scary exposed trail to lourtier and in that way. Only done it on an enduro bike.

So weird that these tourist office videos get released at the end of the season. Is this really the time that people book trips next year?

It's not a tourist office video, it's just a video when I ride in my home trails ;-) It's always time to have fun!

That’s a long brutal day. We loved col de Mille but that was a day for us by the time we had pushed up the last steep bit to the refuge. Loved Vallons too but we had the joy of the lift back up

Yes usually it's the same for me. That day, I was pretty much cooked at the end, hahaha!

Wow- pretty much what I did last month.
Impressive watching them ride Jackass. Get those endos wrong and you’re dead.

So you can ride those rocks on the way in to Vertigo. I did a last-second abort when I was there earlier this month. What a trail. Need to go back to do Col de Mille and Pierre Avoi when there are more lifts open.
