Dane Jewett’s a 12-year old kid from Squamish and has been tearing it up on the Reaper for the past three years. Starting on 24” wheels, he moved up to 26” for this season and is looking to take his first ride on the all-new Reaper 27.5 later this year. Dane Jewett is the Grom Reaper, and he’s pretty fun to follow.

 100% This was the best Whistler based video I've seen in years! Absolutely brought me back to my childhood watching my hero ride in videos....but Dane gets to ride with them! It came full circle!

 26" never will be dead. Who doesn't want to get kids introduced into this sport? How many potential kids there are outthere for ridding propper MTB? If your Dad is not a rider the government should provide you one of this bikes, it would get away future generations from drugs and crime and giving back good trails to the land for creating paradise on Earth. This is my Utopia.

 Here's the rub, it all starts way before 26". Thankful Spawn (who Dane rode for iirc) has been making it happen for 6yro on sick 20" FS bikes in Whistler.

 I remember watching a snowboarding video similar to this 20 years ago; with a 12 year old ripper. He didn't ride like a kid. He rode like a pro. That dude's name? Shaun White.

 I looked a bit closer, its not that his bar is too big, but the grips are compared to his hands, his hand position is fine. Even though little man rides better than a grown man his hands are small, he's 12, so even if he were to cut his bar it still would still look like that because the grips are twice as wide as his hands. Kinda messes with your eyes.

 Not that I ever had (or will ever have) the talent and riding chops that this kid has, but I sure do wish bike parks and bikes like that existed when I was 12. Great stuff.
