What do both winners have in common? Maybe Trek bikes. But more certainly they dont ride Enve...

That perfect jump and landing on the last table won it for Reese. Man, that is a gnarley course!

That tight tuck to the line put Reece in the green. What a boss!

Also look how smooth his landing off the table was, it is absolutely perfect. When the gap is only 0.03 that could be the difference. Despite watching racing for about a decade it still blows my mind to pieces when I actually think about what that gap is and how close they are having ridden down something as mad as that track with as many variables. Incredible stuff

Or his skin suit did the trick Wink

@ODY89: Less than the distance between the tyre and the timing chip. Nuts.

@BeardlessMarinRider: No doubt the clothing is getting a lot tighter

@neimbc: but it does somehow not look anywhere near as ridiculous as the skin suit. Most riders seem to be on the same page with it too, along the lines of that they are in it to go fast and it helps... But skin suits do just look weird!

@ODY89: Reece's race kit is only a gnat's whisker looser than a skin suit. The only difference is the race kits now *look* kind of normal on a quick glance. Certainly not as eye catching as those black Mojo skinsuits Big Grin

@BeardlessMarinRider: agreed. I don't know if I'd want to ride in stuff that tight, but even my kit today compared to a few years ago is a tighter fit. Not tight, but a better cut and not really baggy. And I think it is more comfortable and functions better

Why wasn't this on a weekend? I don't get it1? Well confused me when I saw the qualifying post come up. I thought it was the weekend already!

You need to start watching some of the excellent videos being put out before the races.
