'Dream Track' in Queenstown has some of the biggest public jumps in the world.
Originally built for New World Disorder 5, the jump line cost $5000 to build and anyone can come and ride them. Fully sanctioned, official and some hits are 50 foot in distance. Crazy. New Zealand freerider Connor Macfarlane takes us on a tour down the line, tells us the history and hits some big hucks.
Do you think there are bigger public jumps out there? Let us know in the comments.

I love how they wrote: anyone can ride them. How about no hahahah. Flattering but no
I can only speek of my experience. I crashed much more when i started riding, also I didn't know how to fall, so I broke a few bones on easy Trails or dirtjumps. But now i do much harder trails and bigger jumps, never ever broken something again, because you know much more about your skills and what you can hit and what you can't. And even if i Crash, I know when to hit the eject-button and how to brace myself.
But i can't get your Point with Steve, he was allways a racer, wasn't he? Never changed anything in his career. And the end of that was not due to hitting big jumps. (RIP Steve!)
And then, there's me who just recovered from the last stunt...making the possible impossible. since 1990. still alive though.
The only places i think of is Evo Bike park in France, Coast Gravity Park in BC, and...all the Fest series Jumps obviously but are they public spots??? I don’t know!
I guess the difference is that wynyard is free.
Beautifuly built for bad-ass riders.
Only issue with having shit this big is people who Think they can ....can’t
Love the progression!!!!!
