I'm back on the DH bike overseas in Schladming, Austria to get ready for racing the next world cup! It's great to be back riding with all the Canyon boys!— Troy Brosnan
What's it like to be a fly on the wall at Schladming or Morzine all summer? Between races those places are packed with the most talented riders on the planet.
why dont they host world cups? it seems like all the riders love it? compared to races where you just hear complaints all weekend. if the riders are at places that make them stoked to ride, it would just make for better viewing i would think.
@adrennan: Money and facilities to host the whole show that comes along with a world cup. I also don't know the negotiations that come along with contracts to host races, certain places may have long term contracts and Schladming just doesn't fit into the schedule right now.
@pisgahgnar: fair enough. I guess if I had a mountain that advertised itself without the world cup stops, I probably wouldn't pay the bribe...I mean fees... to the UCI
UCI is the problem
